Hey everyone. Names Allen and I just started vaping about two days ago. Been on analogs for about 13 years and just had a new baby so ready to kick the smell and habit. Currently running with two mods. One is a ego vv with a ismoka bcc. The othe is a ego t with a ce4 clearomizer. Very happy with the ismoka but not too sure about the clearomizer. If you have any suggestions please feel free to throw them my way.

I'm fairly new as well. 3 months in. I have a two mods both vv/vw and I have switched all my tanks/coils over to Aspire BDC's. Just love the way they vape. Great flavor, warmth and vapor production. And they seem to last a long time and are easy on juice consumption. Even if I hit them all day.

It's a ton of fun to try out all the cool options especially if you have a local B&M. Ultimately this this will be cheaper than analogs but I am probably even money wise since I try tons of favors and equipment. In the end who cares? It's a blast!

If you like the ismoka I'd stick with that for awhile. There are plenty of $5 range clearos that can fit the bill. I started with an EVOD and still use it often. If you want to really invest in a starter clearo I'd suggest an iClear 30 model or a Protank. The forum has a whole section for reviews of products and theres a wealth of knowledge on any clearo you can find on here.

Congrats on the baby!!! This is a perfect time for you to stop the stinkies!!

I'm in for 6 months now and have come to realize that this wonderful thing we call vaping, is definitely done in stages. Go slow and keep reading this forum BEFORE you go out there spending a fortune on things you will never use again.

One thing you MUST do is have backups for your backups!!! Batteries, juice and tanks!!!!!!

I would invest in a glass clearomizer, so you aren't limited in the flavors you try. Some juices that contain citrus and cinnamon can react with the plastic in plastic tanks and make them crack. I would start with a Mini Protank II. The coils they use are simple to maintain and the size of the Mini Protank seems to result in less gurgling issues then the larger clearos have.

Hi Allen and welcome to the wonderful world of vaping and I'm glad you found and joined ECF. This is a great community with lots of experience and knowledge. Also, it is great you are getting the analogs out of your life. Congrats on that decision. You'll get lots of suggestions for clearos, but I am using Kanger MT3S BCC clearos with my eGo-T batteries and have been pleased. The only problem I am running into is getting replacement 1.8ohm coils. They seem to be out of stock at the couple of places I frequent.

Hope you find switching to vaping to be as great an experience as I have. Happy New Year and namaste.

Welcome former smokers.

I have a feeling those coils won't work with any other tank; anybody know of any other tanks using that coil?

Somebody mentioned protank 2, and somebody mentioned EVOD; one of the significant reasons for getting these is they use a common atomiser head; several other tanks from other vendors use or seem to use compatible heads.

You want a glass tank; people say that a few eliquids are crackers of plastic tanks, but if some literally crack plastic tanks, what about eliquids that just slowly dissolve plastic ? Not something you're going to notice, but do you want to vape it? Get a glass tank.

With your name, you can't go wrong...mine's Allan...hey it's close. So many things to choose from. For over 16 months I seem to try a new device every month or two. You'd think I would have tried most things by now, but things are introduced faster than I have time to try. Good luck with your journey and enjoy the ride...and all of the new things to try.

I have not tried the ismoka (but it is on my list to try someday). I would imagine that it is heads above the standard ce4.
