Can anyone give me some advice please. I'm new to sub olm vaping and having bought several tanks crown 2 and a cleito I seem to be getting a burning taste after 2 to 3 days use, I replace the coils and all is well again for another 2 days. I'm vaping on 50 watts with some good quality juices 60/40 or 70/30 but always get dry hits.

Are you priming your coils real good prior to adding your e-liquid? This is probably the most important step in getting your coils to last. You might have to do occasional "primer puffs" between vapes if you are getting a lot of dry hits.

I'm not familiar with the Cleito. I have the Crown 1 tank and have not had any problems at all. I have heard some issues with the Crown 2 tank's first generation coils. Allegedly the Crown 2 is on its 3rd generation of coils.

Yes priming coils well. Not sure whether my mod might be the cause. Coolfire 100tc ?

Well, dry hits come from either vaping on too high of power, or the wick becoming dry and causing the cotton to scorch.

Unless someone comes up with better suggestions, I recommend starting out with a new, well primed coil. Then do a couple of primer puffs. Finally, start out on a lower power setting, and gradually adjust the power up until you first detect a burnt taste. Then drop back down on the power setting to prevent burning the wick. Occassionally do primer puffs while vaping to keep the wick wet and prevent dry hits.

I'm a chain vaper. I only vape at 30 watts with 0.25ohm or 0.5ohm coils. If I use 40 watts or more I get dry hits, so I keep my power settings below 40 watts.
