Yeah the clone companies are moving at lighting speed nowadays. The Plume Veil was cloned the next week! lol

And whats even worse (or better for us) is that companies like Infinite are producing clones that are now sometimes better machined than the originals! I feel bad for the modders. But maybe these clone companies will alter the market and drive prices lower so that they can compete. If a $25 Infinite Magma clone is easily better made than the original $100+ rda... why would anyone buy it?

Just like the Kayfun Lite Plus clones ...

The Chinese clones say "Designed in Russia - Made in Germany" on the bottom of them ... just like the original

Ya Right! ... The only country those Kayfun clones have ever been to is China, and the boat going to the US!

So true! I really just wish these high quality cloners like Infinite start making more of their own designs like how Infinite doe the truly awesome CLT Atty. Hell, the CLT is almost nicer than the 3 RDA's it copies lol. They just need to do more original stuff or mash up devices.

I like saving money. In fact, I have a HCigar 'Caravela' mech mod clone.

But when these Chinese companies start putting "Made in the US" or "Made in Germany" on them ... that is just WRONG.

Are they so damned ashamed and/or embarrassed to be in China that they just won't print "Made in China" on the atomizers / mods there making?

Or if a company in China feels the need to clone something, is there any reason that they feel that they have to put the original manufacturer's logo on the item (when in fact that logo don't even belong to them)?

Bottom line ... they are just unscrupulous in there way of doing business. There is just no other way to look at it.

Agree 100%. I have a hcigar stingray and I love it. It made getting into mech mods possible for me. But it crosses the line when they put the made in usa logo on there. Hell even putting the original mfg. logo on there bothers me.

This whole deal with putting a perfect copy of the original manufacturers logo on a Chinese fake item reminds me of some "Poser" that feels the need to put a set of "ZR1" emblems on his base-model Corvette!

BTW ... I sanded off the Caravela "ship" logo off my stainless Caravela clone :)

Anyway, my Kayfun is real ...

What happens when the clone is magnitudes cheaper AND better built! We're starting to see this and i wonder where the next 6 months will go.

I think it's great that you can buy a clone that costs 1/3 the price of the original and also has the quality of the original.

But does that give these Chinese the right to misrepresent there product by placing the original manufacturers logo on there clone? ... If the clone is so good, it should be able to stand on it's own without some other companies logo stamped into it ... Why would a Chinese company that makes a fake Kayfun feel the need to put "Made in Germany" on the clone that was in-fact made somewhere in China? ... I don't understand why they feel the need to lie about where it was manufactured?

It's all about "business ethics", and for the most part ... the Chinese ain't got none !
