My new toy...I think I will name her Nadine. :) I wanted to give a mechanical a shot...so far, I like it alot! Much more compact than my Vamo. With an 18500 battery, as seen in pic, it is shorter than my vamo with an 18350 battery. I ordered a kick too, mostly cause the whole battery thing scares my some with no regulation, but also it should help keep a constant voltage. (provided I have understood all of the forum posts I've read).

Pictured my with the Protank. The Telescoping Natural by SmokTech. (code: vaporjoes11percent gets you 11% of everything on exhalevapors.com)

Okay, so this morning I sanded down the positive and negative contacts to brass. I also sanded some on the rod that the button contacts. Now, I was thinking that it might look cool to sand the bottom cap, button and top to brass, but I don't want to screw it up. Has anyone done this with the Natural? I was thinking that I would leave the inset of the dimples silver just cause it seems like they would be a beotch to sand. Thoughts?

Ive only sanded the contacts on my Natural. My bf wants me to sand the outside or cook it....cant remember which one he wanted me to try, but its too new to do that. LOL

The Kick provides a constant wattage to your atomizer head and not voltage. When you switch coil resistances it will adjust to keep the wattage (power) consistent. I have one. Works great. Pricey though. You can now buy a whole mod with variable VV and VW for what a Kick costs. I plan on acquiring a Bombshell Stinger that takes the Kick and a 26650 battery. Until someone comes out with a VV/VW mod that takes the 26650 the Stinger gets the max duration prize for a single battery regulated tube device.

Its a nice looking and very affordable mechanical mod. Im finding out if you get deep in to this stuff copper and silver and the best materials for contacts. Steel and brass have much less conductive property's. Copper has 99.99999% and silver has 105% Steel and Brass have about 40% of that. Also machining plays a big part in things the better quality machining means better current flow. I have a Roller it has so many parts in the switch if all aren't kept clean and making good contact the battery starts heating up. Then you have a Hybrid and it allows much more surface for the current to flow over a 510 connection.
Now having said all of that it dose not make much of a difference unless you are running sub OHM or dual coils. For a Pro tank you will really enjoy the Mech and the kick glad you found something you enjoy!!!

Got the kick in today. I like the set it and forget it. Great little set up - I am pretty impressed with the mechanical. It may be my favorite so far, I really like the minimalist look and it feels really solid. This will be a bad thing, cause there are ALOT of really good looking mech's out there and upgrading is gonna cost some cash!

I am probably going to have to stay away from the forum and all of the pretty pictures for a while! ;)

I like the look of the telescoping natty! Nice choice for your first rebuildable. I like the kick over running battery power too. But that is because the only kanthal I have is so thin that I can barely get 1 coil around most wicks before its 2 ohms lol. For future reference, get a thicker kanthal for more surface area and lower ohms, and you can wrap a nice 1ohm coil and run off the battery power till the battery is dead without the kick, thus making your natural shorter :) ENJOY YOUR MOD! Enjoy your vape journey!
