I was a pack and a half a day smoker before trying Blu. I liked it so much I blew through the 25 free carts in about 4 days. At first I really liked Blu and the product design but I am starting to think otherwise.

First off, I had to order $80 worth of cartridges to save money from Blu, despite reading that they can be refilled with whatever liquid you prefer. Reason being is I wanted to see what kind of longevity I could get out of Blu carts as intended before becoming a DIYer.

So anyways, I have all these carts now, but I am finding that my atomizer is kind of falling apart, and one battery on full charge barely lasts a full cart, and the carts themselves are not anywhere near 6 cigerettes or 350 puffs or whatever Blu claims.

Basically, I am disappointed and I think maybe I went with the fashionable and trendy e-cig without doing enough research. I WANT VAPOR. I've been reading that the 510's are second to none, among some other brands.

Can you guys please help me find a brand that produces lots of vapor, and won't break the bank for refills?

Please note, I am still ADDICTED to smoking, and I don't feel like my Blu cuts it. Cart getting stale, battery running out, both these issues just make me run to the store and get a Black And Mild to tide me over. PLEASE HELP!

Hi deftdrummer, and welcome! Sorry to hear you're having a crummy experience with the Blu. Have you read threads about improving its performance?

At any rate, I just got a 510 and I can see why all the acclaim - it's a much better unit. However, the battery life is still not all that long so...if you want some real battery life you might want to go with one of the big battery mods or at least get a mega batt for the 510.

I'm not sure about who does cheap pre-filled carts for a decent model, since I moved quickly to refilling myself - a lot cheaper, wider flavor selection, and a modded cart can work a lot better than the stock filler. So I might gently suggest that pre-filled isn't the best way to go. If you want something in between a 3-piece and using pre-filled, you might consider a model that uses cartomizers as these require less fiddling as I understand it.

Hope this helped a little, I don't have much personal experience so you might be best suited hitting the reviews threads for a good while. Again, if you're really looking for extended battery life and a ton of vapor...and if you don't mind that your e-cig doesn't look very much like an analog, you might just jump over to a mod after doing some research on the best one for you.

Hiya. I started with the Blu as well thinking that it looked and felt more like an analog smoke, but found the battery life rather sucked. After some trial and error, poking around with my hubby's 510, and looking for something that didnt look so much like i was smoking a screwdriver, i found the Tornado from Totally Wicked. I can vape on the same battery for 3 days.

It's a manual, so you have to get used to hitting the button when you vape, but the vapor itself is much more consistant. It's lighter in weight than alot of the bigger models, though it is a bit larger than an analog cig, kinda like a little cigar in size.

As for the prefilled carts, i ditched those before i used em all. I actually think i have a few floating around the house still. It's soooo much better to just refill with liquids...more flavor choices (personnaly addicted to Ms. T's Bakery stuff, at the moment), and usually they have better vapor density. I think the prefilled Blu carts lasted for about a cig for me before the vapor and flavor started to go.

I'm not so much a hardcore vape-er like most of the posters, i was switching back and forth from analogs to my Blu for months. Just been vaping on the Tornado for 2 days straight now and don't think i'll go back to my marlboros now...or the Blu, for that matter...

Hope that helps ya, one no0b to another... :)
