New Triton Tank arrived dead

I ordered 3 Triton Tanks and only two of them work. The one that does not work when screwed onto battery and I push the button all the button does is blink.

I figured my battery needed to be re-charged so I screwed it in to charge and took out a freshly charged battery. After pushing the button, all it does is blink. In fact, after trying all 6 of my batteries they all do the same thing; It only blinks.

So, i figured maybe the coil is bad in the new tank. So i put in a never before been used coil in the tank and tried it with all 6 of my batteries. Again, when I push the button all it does is blink. No vapor. No flavor. Just blinks.

So, I used another tank on all 6 of my batteries. I get vapor and flavor...working %100 fine. It's just this one tank.

I'm guessing this tank does NOT connect properly on the battery? Could that be it? Also, does Halo do refunds or simple send me a new tank? I ask this because as of right now all I have is a $6.99 nothing.

It's faulty.

There's a slight chance you can fix it: look under the tank, and locate the center connecting post. If it's off-center, use a screwdriver to push it back in the middle.

If that doesn't work, return it; it's still under warranty.

Sorry to hear. I think there is a short somewhere in your new tank. BigBen2k pointed already out where the short could be. The battery starts only blinking when you:

- Plug it in to charge it.
- When you take it off the charger.
- When you press the button for too long.
- And if the batteries electronic detects an short.

These batteries are very smart, the chip/electroninc in the batt immediately shuts it down and starts blinking to protect itself from damage/short circuits. I'd shoot Halo's customer service an email.

I sent a email to Halo support at not even an hour later I get an email saying they will be shipping a new tank to me!!

Halo has a 10/10 for quality products but they receive a 12/10 for customer support. Simply amazing.

So you couldn't fix it?

The blinking means there's an electrical short. When the center post is misaligned, it contacts the outer part of the battery connector, which is grounded.

I tried but honestly I am so new to this stuff I could of been doing it wrong. With that in mind I would rather just have one that works from the start and not something I have to mess with to work...just makes me nervous lol.
