Hi Everyone, Just got my Joye eGo in yesterday and I'm so happy with it. I ordered it from Litecig. Haven't smoked an analog since I got it. 48 hours now, no cravings!

I gave my mom the extra battery and an extra atomizer so she could try it. She really likes it but said she wants something smaller. I'm wondering if I just get a manual 510 battery if thats all I need to convert hers to a 510?

Also, I noticed cartomizer's and was wondering how different it is using those compared to a cart or dripping? I bought a drip tip but find a PTB cart mod better for me then dripping.

Hi and Welcome to the forum first off!

Yes. you can get her a 510 manual which is smaller. Battery life will be no where as long between charges as the Ego. Better get her 2 batteries.. :) 3-4 hours max of battery charge for the manual 510.

Cartomizers are less messy than messing with the attys.

I prefer attys over cartomizers IMO.

Good luck!

A manual 510 battery would do it and two of them would be better. You always need one to vape while the other's charging. The 510 batteries don't last nearly as long as the eGo either. If she's a heavy smoker, she won't be happy as she'll be changing batteries often. Might want to check into a PCC (personal charger case) as well.

I'd also make sure you get several extra atomizers. Attys can die on you at the worst possible time. They can last months... or pop in a week.

Can't really speak to the carto question as I solely drip.

Good luck!

Basically a LR atty simulates vaping at a higher voltage... more throat hit (TH), warmer vaper and some difference in the flavor of juices are noticed at a higher voltage. LR atty can be used on the eGo battery, but not the 510. LR attys also do not last as long as regular attys. Think I've heard about 2-3 wks on average, though each one is different.
