I am useing Riskee this minute. Its hard to discribe, hints marlboro, throat hit is strong like smoke, but not like pipe or cigar. To me anyway.
555 i havent used much (one cart), but its a cigarette brand too.

My descriptions were wayyyyy off compared to you Magus ... haha ...

Just goes to show, liquids really are user dependent. What's your favorite type of flavor Magus? You like more tobacco type flavors?

I'm still a menthol guy ... although I couldn't stand menthol analogues ... I'm a wimp now ... grrrrrr

i still dont get it....i looked at puresmoker website, and the classic, mini and peewee all look the same!
they all look like cigarettes.
i also dont understand what "penstyle" means.
and another mystery..why do folks call regular/real cigarettes "analogs" on here?
im still trying to decide what to buy...its racking my brain. the more i read here, the more confused i get!

There are five basic esmoking devices - with many variations.

The e-cigar: looks like a cigar, some have a tip that looks like a cigarillo and others have a blunt tip. These have amazing vapor power and cartridge and battery capacity, but do not look or feel the least bit dainty.

The e-cigarette or penstyle: is about 15cm. (6in.) long. They have a tip that looks like a cigarillo. The atomizer is slightly wider than the battery, so when you look at it in a vertical position, it looks like an ink pen with a cap on it (like the old felt tip pens). This style has the advantage of being more socially acceptable than something that looks like that old stinky cigar people have been turning their nose up at for generations. It still has quite a bit of vaporizing power and a nice battery and cartridge capacity.

The mini-cigarette or 901: is about 11cm. (4-3/8in.) long. They typically have a tip that looks like a combination of the round cigarette and the cigarillo - mostly rounded with a flattened area. In the white color with an orange mouthpiece, these vaguely resemble a very long tobacco cigarette. They are a nice place to start for a beginner, kinda middle of the road. They produce some good vapor, have a reasonable size cartridge and the battery can hold up a good charge for 3-4 hours of constant vaping. You can have the cigarette appearance with the white color option, or a less conspicuous appearance with any other color option.

The super mini: has oh so many other names, but is smaller in size than the others. It is typically anywhere from 8.9 to 10.2 cm. (3-1/2 to 4in.) in length and look very much like the old tobacco cigarette we are accustomed to seeing. Some do come in colors, but white with an orange mouthpiece is the most common. These are very realistic and often times are mistaken for a real cig. Performance drops considerably getting the e-cig this small. The battery is smaller and doesn't last as long. The atomizer is smaller and cannot produce as much vapor. The cartridge is smaller and does not hold as much liquid, therefore does not last as long. All of these statements are as they compare to the models I've already listed. The advantage to these is not having nearly as many people stopping you to ask what that is in your hand and what it is about. Most people never question it is a real cig.

The e-pipe: Looks like a tobacco pipe. Produces good vapor. Has great longevity for battery charges and cartridges. Also comes with a considerably larger price tag, fewer color options, less availability, and a distinct pipe appearance. Not that the pipe appearance is altogether bad - it just happens to draw more attention in public which can be good or bad depending on your point of view.

Now that we have covered the basic differences in e-cigs, you have some decisions to make:
How often do you want to change cartridges?
How often do you want to change and charge batteries?
Is it important to look like a real cig? Or would you rather it bear no resemblance?
Is price an important factor in your decision?
What about ease of replacing parts and cartridges? Is this important?

These questions are to get you thinking. Most people start out wanting something that looks realistic. Soon thereafter, many people find they are increasingly displeased with the realism as the less realistic e-cigs are more readily accepted in nonsmoking areas and the questions from passersby offer opportunities to educate the public at large and the limitations of the super mini - always fiddling with changing cartridges and batteries - become irksome.

All that being said, most on this forum recommend the 901 or mini e-cig to newcomers because they are affordable to acquire and maintain, have the option of realism or a something less like a cigarette, perform well, and are readily available by suppliers both here and in other countries.

I hope this was helpful.

I really must find some way to edit the length of my posts. I apologize to all for typing so much every time.

The Coke is real good, needs tweeking to me. I am a Coke addict (the drink, hehe)
Its citrus/acidy about right, to sweet and not enough cola to me, more like Pepsi :p

I am looking for a GOOD, strong tobacco flavor, but not bitter, like a good Rum Dipped Cigar, for a daily use. Flavor means more then hit to me, but i will take a good balance in any juice.
The different flavors are Novelties to me. Something different once in a while.
You cant eat plain chips all the time, you want BBQ sometimes.

I would add carbonation if I could ... the bottle would have to travel in one of those sealed steel containers though ... LOL ... You know whats funny, Pepsi tastes like it has zero carbonation, that's why I don't like it. I am a Dr. Pepper lover at heart, Coke comes in 2nd if my first choice is no where to be found ... :(

Sounds like I may need to hand deliver this one ... Don't worry, I have 260 cousins working for USPS ... I will make sure one of them gets on it ASAP!!!! :thumb: :D

I wish I lived outside of LA ... This place is such a drag. Traffic, smog, disrespectful people, traffic, cost of living is horrendous, and ... traffic.

Hoping to move back East one of these days .... I wouldn't even mind Texas ... :)

Bring the goods, we'll find you a home in the Midwest. Compared to LA, it would be quaint (boring and behind the times). Gotta say though, traffic problems would be nil here if they would just put away their grown up tonka toys and quit tearin' up the roads. Cost of living is always a trade off - one thing more expensive, another dirt cheap. Disrespectful people are everywhere - it seems everyone is living in their own little nuclear world, paying no attention to anyone they don't know personally.

It would be super nice to have you for a neighbor though.:D

I would trade BMW's and Mercedes for tonka toys anyday ... Everyone here in LA drives an expensive car ... sadly, everyone in LA is also in some major debt .... Median priced home here in the vally is still $550K - $600K and that's with a BAD economy  Unless you make $150-$200K a year, living in LA really isn't affordable ...

I wish we could be neighbors :)

Sure Cash, here in Ohio you could Buy a house for a months Rent in Cali :)
But then again, here, good paying jobs are hard to get too

Word ... If you knew what we were paying now, you would crap yourself ... Its THAT disgusting .... :(

The cost of living really brings down the quality of life. My wifey and I have zero in common with most people in Los Angeles. Trustworthy friends are hard to come by here ... everyone has an agenda ... its quite sad really :(

God bless Texas, I say...where it's cool to drive a beat up old pickup truck, where I can buy a house and a few acres for under 70K. Gas prices in Lampasas yesterday was $1.76. And we have no state income tax. And driving rural roads, we exchange cowboy waves, and always pull over to the shoulder to let another driver pass.

aw shoot, you can live real cheap. there are plenty of homes for under 50K. my fellow coworker (another RN-Registered Nurse like me), makes a good salary (all of us, with some overtime can easily make 80K), pays $230/month mortgage for his 4 bedroom house in town here, he bought it just a few years ago for under 40K. in a safe small country town, but close enough to commute (30 minutes) to post--army post..and we have a city nearby, Killeen, which is kinda dumpy-typical military town with pawn shops, stripclubs etc, but the nice thing about it is that there is such an international diverse population, due to the military, so i can eat at all sorts of ethnic restaurants-we have 3-4 hawaiian/pacific rim cafes, puerto rican, cuban, cajun, brazilian, filipino, thai, vietnamese etc restaurants, and a huge Asian grocery store where i can buy all my favorite Hawaiian foods! life is good! and Texas has one of the strongest economies in the country!

No state income TAX ?!?!?!

lots of yall California types are moving out here, especially to Austin, since it's not as much as a culture shock. Austin is 1 hour southeast of me. very liberal, tree hugging granola eatin hippy birkenstock wearing folks. and the Austin sprawl is extending out further and further towards our quaint small country Texas towns. the next thing ya know, Texas will turn blue. yikes.
