It will most definitely depend on your set up for your vapor production. A good rba, with a decent unit behind it will produce more vapor. You most likely will want a unit that you can control the watts and volts on to give you more control over your vape. Also with a premade coil you will only get so much vapor. If your looking for more you might be interested in a good rba. I get loads of dense vapor and tons of flavor from my kayfun rba. I run it usually at around 15 watts. Vapor production is not only depending on your device, but on your build and wicking too. I get great vapor from using a 1.0 ohm coil with a cotton wick. These are things you can play with to see what you like best and to get the production you want . But I'd start with a variable volt and watt device with a good Rba and then you should get the production your looking for. Hope this helps and best wishes

A 2 ohm coil starts out with good vapor and flavor around 3.7v. As the coil ages and starts to gunk up a bit, you have to raise the voltage a little at a time.

You might want to move up to a Vision Spinner with variable voltage. It's compact like the EP. Then, you will be able to dial up as needed to find the sweet spot. For now, go buy some 1.5 or 1.8 ohm heads for your Protank. Those will give you good vapor with the EP.

If you are after better flavor, try out the Aspire BDC or the Kanger Evod. The Kanger will use the same heads you use with your PT3.

Also if your looking for a good variable volt/watt device the Dna30 might be a good choice. Right now fluid vapes has the second generation with Improved electronic and 510 connection 1:1 cloupor dna 30 clone in stock for 69.00. They ship from california. It's a great deal as these usually sell for 89 dollars and up. Also this is the newest version without the bugs.this device specs says you can vape 30 watts at any coil resistance and it will run sub ohm down to .3. They have three colors left, black grey, and red. I got myself one from them it's a great deal and a really good device. Hope this helps. Take a look online at it and see what you think.

The better the gear, the better the vape. Something like the Nautilus will get you more vape, but if large volume of vape and great flavor is what you are looking for, then the path of the rba, re-buildable atomizer, and a decent mod may be the way for you.

I started with an ego and a PT, vapeing at 6-8 watts, now am using mechs and high amp regulated mods and vaping at a minimum of 30 watts to a max of 93 watts. And yeah, get plenty of satisfying vape.

Vape is progressive, the longer one vapes the larger the collection becomes.

Vape long and prosper.!!!

I find the stock Kanger dual coils become gunked up very quickly.
I have also found that over tightening the clearo can cause the stacked coils to become slightly deformed causing issues.
I get the best performance by rebuilding the dual coil heads with a single micro coil, wicking with cotton, and adding some cotton as a top wick to fill the void.
I get great performance by doing this. Out of all my clearos, I actually think I get the best performance and flavor from my Mini ProTank 2 and 3.
I only use them on my SmokTech winders.
I only use RBA's and RDA's on my APV's.
Hope this helps, and welcome to the forum.

Welcome aboard, Skinny!

Might be, too, that the EP just can't "drive" the PT3 dual coil effectively. So maybe get a PT2, the mentioned Evod (original, single coil type), Kanger T3S (not the D - it's dual coil), or similar. Some of the smaller batteries are reported to have issues with the dual coil toppers.

I agree.....when I used them, dual coils had poor performance. You need a device with a little more power to drive them.

Good choice, a real workhorse!

First, just decide if you want to control the voltage manually (VV mode) or have the MVP do it for you (VW mode.)

Many prefer VW, as it will keep the same heat no matter what resistance topper you put on it - within operating range, of course.

Then, just set it to the lower end of the range and work up in steps until the taste gets funky, then back off a step or two and you're done. Since we all have different flavors, toppers and tastes, there's no one setting that's right for all of us. And different flavors may be better at different settings, as well. :vapor:

In response to the OP original question:
I think it has to do with PG/VG levels. I have a similar setup and if I vape on something with 65PG or higher I get hardly any vapor. Anything above 50/50 for that fact. I started purchasing 20/80 mix and get plenty of vapor now. I also use a higher resistance coil than my tank came with. For example, kanger mini pro tank 3 comes with 1.5ohm dual coils but I like to vape at a higher wattage (4.0), 1.5ohm coils are not supposed to be used above 3.7watts I believe so I use 2.0ohm dual coils. I get good vapor and my battery doesn't get as hot.

So iTaste EP's are regulated batteries that only put out 3.5 volts. This means that you will want a coil with a lower resistance. Either 1.8 or 1.5 ohms. The lower resistance will produce more vapor with the same amount of power. The default mini protank 3 coils are probably either 2.0 or 2.2.

Default mini protank 3 coils are 1.5ohm. So they would be correct for his regulated 3.5 volt battery.
