Hi everyone

New to vaping and Just a reo lp with a reomizer. I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone has solved. Thanks

-Seems like I once in a while, I get ejuice on my lips/in my mouth. juice is draining back in the well and wicks are short(to the edge of the atty) still running stock drip tip and have a dual 28ga side by side coil at 0.5ohm

-doesn't fire properly every time, have to reposition the battery so it makes a good contact. Using button top efest 35a 18650

Hmmm... the juice-in-mouth might have something to do with the wicks touching the atty cap. They will do their job and get juice build up on the cap, which you might be drawing up to your mouth. I swear that's what was happening to me with the first coil I built on a RM2. By the sounds of it, it's not just juice pops, which can also happen with a new coil and some wicking material (if you're not hearing the pops, then it's not this). Try taking the cap off and cleaning it and the drip tip to see if it takes a while to happen again (which would indicate a buildup/suction issue).

As for the misfiring, you're most def seeing battery travel from your description. The firing pin - as FB pointed out above - could be it or you might have a spring misalignment with the bat. If it's off to the side a bit, you can end up moving the bat from firing. If it is this, rotated the spring a little to reposition it. Don't pull or distort it, tho - it has important work to do in the shape it comes as.

Also, that looks like an awful lotta wick in there. At the same time, are you having any trouble running into dry hit problems? (Compressed wick in coil.)

It could just be the photo angle but it appears the coil could be moved further out from the post on the left.

Between the battery contact problem or the Reomizer you will find out here it's always little tweaks that fix things.

"have to reposition the battery so it makes a good contact"

Any time this happens to mine, it has ALWAYS been because of oxidation on the firing pin OR on the battery posts.

I have the older contacts, so I just lightly rough up the firing pin with a nail file and take some super fine sandpaper to the pos and neg of the battery until they are sparkling clean. Put it all together and you can definately tell a difference....................

So I cleaned out the top cap. The juice in my mouth only happens a while after. Guess from vapor build up? Kinda sucks to have to clean it out every few hours.

I would revisit the RM2 building thread. If the wick is holding too much liquid because it's too much, while at the same time isn't wicking to the coil as good as it can because it's too much - dialing it down could fix that. We probably say it too much but less is more here when it comes to wick.Take a look at different coil builds too and especially coil placement. Simple works better on an RM2. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/413000-rm2-rba-2-0-reomizer-2-rebuild-tutorial.html
