Hi all,
I just got my prodigy v3 in mail yesterday. I have been using Fifty-One for about a year now (Yes I know crap and expensive but all I had).... anyway.... While using the Fifty-One I had to use 8-12 mg cartridges to get an OK hit of nic.... well on my V3, I have tried 1.6% and 0.8% from PS and I get such a head rush on either... almost feel dizzy.... is this normal? Or am I some kind of freak and doing something strangely wrong.... My set up now is the V3 with SR or LR Cartridges on the 3.7v set up. I also notice that I do not get huge amounts of "smoke" on the V3 is it because of the lower volt and its not the 6v? Or again am I just a ..... and deserve to repack and send back not smart enough to use??

I have and use a Prodigy V.3 at 3.7 , 5 and 6 volts . If your not getting very much vapor , it's from the lack of VG in your juice , not the Prodigy . I'm not sure of the nic content , when you mention 0.8 and 1.6 , but it sounds like your getting more nic , than usual . Either try using a lower nic content , or Take smaller toots , And don't inhale as much . And by the way , Welcome to the ECF .

Grats!!! Sounds good! A beautiful piece.

What juice are you using? I use juices with 10-20% Vg in cartomizers and up to 50% on atomizers.

Even 10% VG will add vapor and 10% won't dull the flavor or TH much at all.

I love 3.7v - there is such a wide variety of stuff available for it.

Not sure what PG/VG ratio is.... I got the tonic sweet tooth and tonic tropical sampler packs from Puresmoker.com. Tonice e-liquid strength is 0.8% on one sampler and 1.6% on the other. I can get a little more vapor if I drip on the atomizer, but using carts I do not get much. I had ordered the Boge 510 carto LR and SR per suggestions from this forum to see which one I liked. It's strange that at this low of a % of nic I am getting to much since the Fifty-Ones I was at 12mg of nic!

My next question is in using the lipton pyramid tea bag method can I rip apart one of these carto's? Or do I need to buy more atomizers and use the tip from them to fill?? Also (STUPID Q) if I use the atomizer and tip, how can you fill tip with juice and then add tea bag? Won't it just leak out through where you would suck the smoke through???

Having so much fun with this new set up soooooo glad I invested in it!! Just gotta tweak now

Going from a Smoke51 to a Prodigy is quite a leap. I did the same from a Smoke 51, not to a Prodigy but a HV mod device. I was lucky to have 45 minutes of help F2F.

You have a fabulous mod once you understand it. I'd suggest making a list of questions and calling support. YouTube will be a big help also. Learning dripping onto an atomizer and filling a cartomizer by reading text is like giving a haircut over the phone. Impossible. You need to SEE it then come here for pointers. Congrats on your new equipment. You'll get the hang of it but it'll take a minute. It's SOOO worth it

Edit: Member "Renzuli" is a huge help to many here on ECF. As a fellow Prodigy owner I'd suggest searching his posts for tips. He gives great advice and knows your equipment.
