Hi, my new vamo and kanger pro tank arrived last friday. Thanks for all the info from the forum members.

So far I'm fairly impressed. Just a couple of issues that are bugging me a little. Firstly, I have to unscrew the tank a little to get it to work. The rattling is a little annoying. Is this normal?

Secondly, I'm getting different tastes. Sometimes a slight burning faggy taste and the juice is turning a dark colour. Is this normal. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

as on owner of both the Vamo and the Pro Tank, I can say the 2 together are a pretty good match. Remember, only tighten the pro tank down till its finger tight, somewhat snug....don't over tighten, especially with the Vamo (known for having pin connectivity issues). The tank "rattling" probably means you have it too loose, the tank should be fairly snug on the unit. As far as the burning tastes, make sure you always check the resistance of the coil, and adjust your voltage/wattage accordingly. Start your voltage/wattage on the lowest setting and work your way up until you find your happy point (sweet spot)....

Most Eliquids will change color over time, this is normal! Sometimes immediately, sometimes 2 days after you purchase it, sometimes a couple weeks later.

My liquids always darken in my Vivi Nova within about a day of putting them in there. Which is coincidentally about the time I finish a tank and rinse it all out. :) I wouldn't worry too much about it. There is also a trick I found online somewhere about putting an ego threaded beauty ring down into the drip well of the vamo. Then you can tighten the tank up snug without harming the center post. Not my trick. But should work in theory.

Hi. Dont know what mod it is. Sorry. I'll start on the lowest and work my way up.

Whats the difference between the volts and watt settings?

Hold down the "+" OR the "-" (not both) for 10 seconds until "no2" is displayed on the screen. That is the mode that is preferred by most Vamo users. You can switch back to "no1" exactly the same way. Explore the Vamo section of these forums for more specific help with this model.

I use the VAMO and ProTank as well.

the Rattlesnake sound is not actually a loose anything, that's how the VAMO does it's thing... it uses pulse width modulation, which in very simple terms means that it basically pulses on and off very fast. I find that for some reason with some juices it's a lot more noticeable than others. That sound doesn't mean that there's anything wrong.

As far as what to set it to most of what I vape seems to taste best and produce the best vapor at around 7-7.5 watts, seems to totally depend on the juice (since I'm using ProTanks exclusively)
