So I got my new VAMO v2 today. Just waiting on my NiteCore IntelliCharger i2 from Amazon and 2 IMR 18350 batteries from Madvape to get here. But wanted to ask here on what else is a "must have" item I should get as well? Like I read at one time about getting a thread cover to help the 510 connection? Anyone have a link to said cover? Any other helpful items or tips for a new VAMO user please let me know.
Thanks

I freaking love my vamo! I jumped on the bandwagon when the V1 first came out. It's still going strong. Ive even dropped it outta of a slowly moving truck (was dicking around in the pickup) watched it skid for a while picked it up and vaped even the Nova tank made it. Alaptop your going to need a few more 350's if that what you plan yo only use. I get thru about 3 maybe 4 a day.

I absolutely love my vamo stainless and wish it would of been around when I started vaping 2 years ago. It's a SOLID mod that works OUTSTANDINGLY well. it's everything anyone could ask for at a price that isn't completely ridiculous.

As to the original post the threads are the standard ego connection. So any ego cone will fit it. I almost always use a tank, but I have a chrome ego cone that looks great for standard cartos and 510 attys.

thank you supplydaddy for the skinz link if I didn't like the stainless steel finish so much i'd skin my vamo in a heart beat. we'll see what it looks like in a year, but since the stainless isn't a plating or paint I fully expect my stainless to still look great.

I did run into a problem with my vamo burning attys yesterday but i'm going to make a new thread for that issue.

The others were out of stock, so I recommend these that were so highly recommended by another VAMO owner, (Thanks, Dax!):
eGo Cone Cover for DCTank
Definitely want to get the 510-to-Ego adapters. I would order a couple, they get lost easily (I found mine stuck in the bottom of a clearomizer when I had removed it from my Vamo for cleaning, but learned that I must have at least 3 on hand! Same for the Cone Covers.
Add a Protank or some metal Vivi Novas (because you never know what juice might eat a clearo), and some delicious juice and you're good to go. At least, this is what works for me!

Only 2 batteries?? You need at least a couple more..(backups for your backups...)
510/ego adapter 510 Battery to eGo Atomizer Adapter
510/510 adapter V2 510 Shorty Extension Sealed
Skinz Vapor Skinz
J-Wraps http://www.jwraps.com/default.asp

And if you're not afraid of ordering direct from China, Fasttech has been doing great for vapers of late

Too good if you ask me, with all the new items that I "need" that they add everyday there putting me in the poorhouse. :D

Glad to help,,

Remember guys, the one that works exellent is the one with the lips or flair that prevent the ring get complete into the thread, the other ones posted have no lip or flair,

A couple things....even more than the cone cover, which helps seat the 510 connectors, if you want to use Ego tanks (T3, EVODs, CEs), you'll need the 510-to-EGO adapter. You dont "need" it as the vamo has ego threads, BUT the drip lip is recessed so you wont be able to screw in/unscrew those tanks from the base. Therefore you run the risk of unscrewing the tank from the base rather than the whole clearo, potentially spilling juice all over yourself. In my humble opinion, this makes the 510-ego adapter a necessity as I love the EVODs, maybe even more than the Protank.

Secondly, whether threading in a 510 or ego clearo, gently pull on clearo, away from the vamo, as you're tightening it. This helps seat the threads and pulls the clearo into the vamo. Doing this, I haven't had a problem cross threading anything I've mounted on it.
