Hi! A good friend of mine got me a Joye 510 starter kit for my birthday, and I do believe it's the best birthday present I ever got! :)
I have a question. My ecigs are the manual three-part kind with a battery, atomizer and cartridge. I got five cartridges preloaded with Marlboro flavor and when they ran dry, I used chocolate juice - yum. Here is my question. I just noticed that vapor is coming out where the atty joins the battery. Is this normal? Thanks.

Judy, make sure your cartridge is pushed in and isn't loose. Also, you will eventually find that 3 piece systems are a bit of a hassle. I had to constantly top off my cartridge. Have you considered a box of Boge cartomizers? These will fit your battery type. There are 5 in a package and are considered disposable but I clean mine and keep reusing until they die. They come blank, just add your juice, let it sit for 20 minutes, then vape away. When the flavor drops, just top off again. They hold 1ml of juice compared to the cartridge only holding .5ml's.

I have a titan 510 and it does the same thing a lot. Sometimes my tank does it too. If you stop holding the button sooner as you're drawing on it, it wont happen. The coil takes time to cool so it's still vaping when you're not drawing or pressing the button for a second or two and there's only really one way to go; out! It can come out through the mouthpiece or through the air holes between the atty and battery. It's quite a big chamber for vapour for the size of the unit so there can be more in there than you thought too. That's in my experience anyway with a similar model. Any harm if it's not that is totally not my fault, right? lol

Oh and welcome to ECF!

Wow, thanks for the replies and the nice welcomes! :)
Hairball, as far as I can tell, the cartridge and atty are pushed in as tightly as they can be. Hm - had never heard of Boge cartomizers. There is so much to learn!!! CBB, interesting - I will try drawing faster, and it's good to know that vapor escaping isn't abnormal. Leftfield, I just tried not holding the button down so long, and there was less vapor escaping.
I think I have to work on my technique - I've only been vaping for two weeks. :)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
