Hey guys. I've been lurking around these forums for a while now, and finally pulled the trigger on a 510 kit. I'm proud to say that I've been smoke free for almost a month now. I then convinced my girlfriend to make the change too. We ordered her a black 510 3 piece kit. However, there seems to be a problem. Her cartridges leak like crazy! They fit VERY loosely on to her atomizer. For comparison, my white carts fit nice and snug on my white atomizers AND on her black atomizers. But, as mentioned, her black carts fit extremely loose. I can even notice a very slight difference in size between the black and white carts when comparing them side by side. I'm not getting any cooperation from the vendor I purchased from, so I was hoping that somebody may be able to offer us some sort of a solution. Thanks so much in advance.

No ideas as all of mine have fit. I guess the easiest is to buy different ones. Carts are cheap. $3 for 5. I would try cartomizers as well if you have not yet.

I guess I'm just gonna have to break down and buy some new ones. I was just unsure, because I didn't know if they black ones were all smaller or something. Hoping that maybe I just got a defective batch. Would be nice if the vendor would step up and rectify the problem, but I guess I'm not going to be that fortunate.

Yeah. No, all 510 carts should be the same. Either she got a batch that were made wrong or they sent you the wrong ones maybe...no idea.

The cartomizers are only $8 for box of 5. She may like those far better - many people do... I would get the standard 510 Boge soft cap..

If I understand correctly though, don't the cartomizers only last for a short time? In comparison to atomizers that is.

OK
Well, they "generally" do not last as long as an atomizer - correct. However they are 1/5 the price.

The difference is function. If out and around you simply put a couple in your pocket and you are all set.

Before having to refill/top off:

Carts: about 1.5 analogs

Carto: about 1/2 pack

I would say, on average, a carto should last a couple of weeks - maybe. Same as atomizers - they may last days, they may last weeks - hard to say.

There are tons of different cartomizers out there, if you try them, you want to check which ones to get. Many designs can burn their filling, making you inhale burned plastic, and while some people here claim that they opened "hundreds" of theirs and none ever burned, well, let's say, if you believe that, you'll believe a lot.

There are a few designs that are not so prone to burning the filling, and the e2-cartos don't have a filling that can burn.

Cartos give a differnt vape from atties, but then, every type of atty has a different taste and feel, too. You might want to try a few. Cartos are refilled, which usually is slightly more complicated than refilling carts, but they do usually last longer than carts.

As for the black carts not fitting: I have never had that and can't recall having heard that, either, so it is a rare problem at least. Carts are also not exactly expensive, so just buy new ones.

I am puffing some Boge LR carto's I got from LiteCig right now... they rock. But a standard 510 battery cannot handle LR - it will ruin the battery.

These are giving me a bit of a buzz...lol. The LR go through juice like crazy...

Edit: LR = low resistance. Not sure if you know what i was referring to...

I've seen the LR setups on various sites, but wasn't sure what the advantage was. Thanks for the insight. I'm looking into the cartomizer's as well. We're not only looking to quite the regular cigs, but also looking for as much money savings as possible.
