Ive taken a few physics classes including thermodynamics so if necessary I think I could handle that.
Seems like everyone is recommending the MVP2, but the box shape turns me off. Sorry I am superficial in some ways. :-(
If that really is the best choice though, I will go with it.
The MVP3 looks much more like what I was hoping for design-wise.
It looks like I will try the starter kit with Apple flavor, 50/50, 6mg/ml.
How long will that bottle last?
Any other suggestions or is the MVP2/3 the best way to go?

I am going to be ordering after I get off work tonight at 11:30pm CST.
Once again, thanks so much for the information. Especially regarding retailers and discounts!

I think you mean the iTaste vv3 - this one:
Innokin iTaste VV V3.0 Starter Kit - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

Similar size to ego twist but I think this is better - variable wattage and nicer look. How long a bottle last depends on how much you vape. mount baker Vapor sells ejuice -in fact that is his main thing and his juices are quite popular. I've vaped them a lot myself. I suggest buying a few small bottles in different flavors - and get 65PG/35VG for more vapor.

His banana nut bread and butterscotch are very popular. Also Moojuice - a strawberry cream sort of flavor.

Hey everyone.

Let me start of by saying I really appreciate the very helpful and mature community you all have here. It is refreshing to have found a site that isn't clearly biased toward a certain product/brand.

A little about me: I am in my mid-20s. I smoked at most 3 cigarettes per day for about a 2 year period after high school. I quit smoking 3 years ago because I want to live a long and healthy life without tar building up in my respiratory system.
Because I completely quit smoking tobacco, I did not miss the nicotine buzz. Many of my friends who smoked for many years recently switched to e-cigs. We have been playing some board games lately and it looked like fun to blow smoke like I used to without having to go outside and have that nasty smell everywhere.

To try it out, I purchased a disposable Blu e-cig from the supermarket for $9. I understand that particular product isn't seen as a very good e-cig among this community, but I really liked it.
Here's the thing. That e-cig lasted me 3 days and apparently has 20-24mg so I got intense nicotine buzzes that almost made me sick. The vapor was much thinner than my friends' refillable and rechargeable e-cigs. I think it would be awesome to have a reusable kit that produces thick vapor with the amount of nicotine that a light or ultra light cigarette would have.

The Blu disposable I bought is regular tobacco flavored and was good, but I wouldn't mind trying other flavors. I used to enjoy smoking fruity flavored tobacco from a hookah.

I did some searching on the site and I found so much information that I got a bit overwhelmed with the wave of new information.
I was curious if there is an all-around good kit that fits the bill of what I am looking for. Lots of vapor, low nicotine content, other flavor possibilities a plus. Also, I would like something that will last me a while. I have seen some kits that can be recharged via usb ports and that seems very convenient. Going through a reputable dealer is important to me. My price range is $30-$75, but I am flexible. I am willing to spend more if it will be noticeably better.

It is obvious you folks know what you are talking about and I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and share your experience! :D

Something along these lines are what I consider a "starter" these days: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

Doesn't have to be from MyVaporStore (though I buy from them myself and they're good I think) nor that one but they pulled together a good kit here. EGo style is widely supported and you can put together that kit from any number of vendors. MVS has it conveniently in "one spot".

Far as nicotine levels, any refillable, call it "tank" like system ("clearomizers" in this case) you buy whatever nic level you want. Right down to 0 nic if you want that. Like, for example, at Mount Baker: Spearmint E Juice Baker Vapor - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes.

Unfortunately, Blu's tobacco is proprietary (made by Johnson Creek but they sell it only to Blu) and I've tried to find a way to duplicate it but gave up. Got close but never pulled it off...

So do you folks recommend that I get this kit along with an extra flavor or two?

Gotta track down the correct battery so I can get an extra one of those too. I am almost always near a usb port anyway, so I might pass on that, but it depends on the cost.
Any other suggestions for accessories or even other kits?

The VV is a battery. If you get the kit at that link, you just need juices. Mount Baker includes one but they also have tons of flavors to check out. And if you plug the VV into a USB port (a powered one), it runs off the USB and saves the battery.

If you like that one, go for it. I like Innokin myself. I moved to their VTR this year (you may see it under "related products" on the page) and like it a great deal. But if you don't like "boxy", heh, well, the VTR is a brick. A shiny, shiny brick. But a brick. :) but I've become quite fond of Innokin's products...

OP likes vapor, they may want more VG.

I got some Blue Moo and can't make up my mind so it's off a steeping right now. Love Blue Ice though...

A great starter kit that's simple to use and is Popular for Newbies and won't break the bank is The Kanger Evod. You can find it all over, I got mine @ Mt Baker Vapor who is also a Top Notch E-Liquid supplier. The kit comes with:

I've used Mount Baker Vapor at 65/35 and 50/50 - I've suggested either of those in previous posts. As a new vaper I think he'd get plenty from 65/35 - its a good amount of vapor. 50/50 is a good choice but is thicker and flavor can be less with less PG. I vaped 70/30 and 65/35 for a long time and got plenty of vapor.

Get that and a bunch of flavors. For a starter u cant really go wrong with the vv3. If you're near usb most of the time one battery will work for now until you see how u like it.

I am pretty new to vaping as well and got the itaste vv from Hoosier ecigs http://www.hoosierecig.com/Innokin-iTaste-VV-v30-Starter-kit_p_841.html it shipped fast and was cheaper than most places. I also picked up two bottles of juice and spent less than $75. I am pleased with the itaste vv, it came with 5 tanks which work OK, its nice to have multiple tanks so you can switch flavors easily. Not real impressed with the tanks so I ordered some different ones today.

Good one - Hoosier is another good vendor. I've bought from him before myself.

Awesome! It looks like that is the best deal I have seen so far. I think I am going to go with this one unless someone suggests something else.
Do you recommend I get different tanks? What makes a tank good?

Also, in the pictures it looks like the power adapter is the euro type. is that just because it is a stock photo or something?

Get that one - its a good price. Sometimes with tanks its about trying them for yourself. A lot of people like these, Kanger Evods, or these Protanks

Both of those also at Hoosiers.

I'm partial to the Protank Mini mentioned above. It's a glass tank (better flavor IMHO), easy to clean & fill, removable drip tip, and if you ever getting into rebuilding, you can rebuild the coils yourself. Even if you aren't into rebuilding coils yet, save your old ones. You might change your mind!

What you want is a dual coil tank. I would go with an aero tank. It is very low maintenance, has adjustable airflow, and has a glass tank. The dual coil will allow you to crank up your volts and produce more vapor. Like someone said before me, the Itaste MVP is an awesome battery. Has around a week long battery life. You can charge your phone and other devices with it. Cons with this device is that it is a bit bulky.. Something a little more practical in size would be the Itaste svd. It just is a reliable setup and has a really clean look to it. Hope this all helps
