New Vaper Seeking Beginner Advice

Spending spree tonight! For equipment, from litecigusa I bought a Joye EGO-C Twist 650mah, a Smoktech Mini 450mah EGO, 5 x 2.3ml cartos, and 5 x 6ml cartos. The little 450mah unit looks to be about the size I'm after and about double the battery of my V2; but I'm intrigued by the idea of the variable voltage on the 650mah. Figure I can start with the pre-built cartomizers and move up to the RBAs next time I need equipment. As far as juice, I found many people on this site praising Mom and Pop's Vapor Shop -- from them I picked up 30ml of 48mg nicotine PG, an additional 30ml each of PG and VG, the RYO and American Blend flavor concentrates, as well as some caramel and fruity concentrates for my wife. The tobacco flavors both had reviews/descriptions with elements of what I (as a recent analog smoker) think I'm looking for, and I'm interested in trying to find my sweet spot for nicotine concentration, so this should be fun.

OCD kicked in, and did some rough calculations -- given the varying estimates of how much e juice is equal to a pack of smokes, I'm figuring, given what I've just spent, I'll be coming in somewhere between $.50 and $1.50 per pack of factory-rolled cigarettes, or between $1.50 and $4.50 per pack of RYO tobacco. Considering I used to spend about $10/pack of RYO tobacco, I figure I'm getting ahead.

Your welcome and I think you made some good choices. This can be expensive if you let it. It's easy for it to turn into a hobby. But it doesn't have to be expensive if you don't let it.

If you prefer the smaller form of the eGo-class batteries, this kit is a great value and is fully customizable. I recommend getting One Twist, one Spinner, and an eVod and a T3 (and extra coils.) This kit will introduce you to the best hardware (including variable voltage) available currently in this category.

If you want to go cheaper, try an eVod starter kit--half the price but no variable voltage, but a solid 3.7v (not 3.3 like other eGos).

Slowly absorbing all the info out here, and as a result am leaning more and more heavily towards the MVS starter kit...BUT, one final question before pulling the trigger...given the various set-up options I'm wondering if someone can give me a quick pros/cons of twist vs. spinner batteries (assuming the same mAh) as well as a quick pros/cons of the T3 vs. EVOD vs. mini pro tank? Have seen some comments about certain juices degrading the plastic tanks so am leaning toward the mini but curious as to people's take. Thanks.

Just about 2 months into this. I remember waaaay back thinking I just wanted cigalikes... Look at what you people have done to me!

Minis, twists, Chi-You clone with a Kick, iTaste SVD, Vamo V3, Kayfun clone, Igo-L, Protank 2, some 510-Ts and Smoktech Shorties... Oh my!
