Hey everybody! I just got my first e-cig about 5 days ago and I love it! However, its an mvp 2.0 with an aspire nautilus running at 4 volts. It just recently started flashing a red light twice and crackling when I cut it off. It only happens ever now and again and I cant figure it out. Cleaned everything, took it apart and it still does it. Any ideas?

Something definitely doesn't sound right. The atomizer (ie aspire nautilus) may crackle while in use, but it would do it consistantly. Heated e-liquid can have the sound of frying bacon.

If the sound is actually coming from the MVP, then you've got some real problems. There could be some wiring going bad which could cause a short.

My advice is to not use the MVP or Nautilus until it can be inspected by someone more knowledgeable. If you bought this from a vape shop, return it for an inspection and possible exchange.

Is the battery dead? Here's the manual from the innokin site.

I just got an MVP V2 as well, and I'm also having a few issues. I'm wondering if I may have gotten a knockoff. The manual says when you hold down both buttons to activate the resistance meter it should display 4 different settings: resistance, voltage, puff counter, and current wattage/voltage setting. However mine only displays the ohms and voltage when I hold down both buttons. Curious if yours does the same?

As far as I can tell, having had my MVP for about a week, yours is legit. Mine only shows ohms/battery strength when I hold both buttons down. To get the puff counter and voltage/wattage settings, you just push one of the buttons. I think they just made a mistake when they printed the manual.

Guess it's legit then, the site I got it from is pretty highly recommended on here. Though I'm also having a weird issue where sometimes when I push the the wattage/power button it takes a second or so to register, and occasionally it doesn't register the button press at all. I have to press it 2 or 3 times then it works normally for a while.

Its definitely not the mvp, the iclear 30 it came with hasn't done that. I may run back to my vape shop in the morning and let them check it. Should I change the head on the nautilus? Maybe that might be the issue. And if I press both button I only get ohms and the battery level.

A quick press of both buttons displays ohms and battery level. Press and hold them for longer and all 4 settings will be displayed: ohms, volts, puffs, last setting. HTH.
