‎!!!The mod Squad wanted to make a statement about a subject that pertains to all of us. We have noticed lately that allot of new people have had dry throats a little dizziness and some other symptoms from getting off analogs.
This is very common in the beginning of the E cig Journey.
. This does go away in usually a few days once you start vaping. We want to break this down for you so you all understand what it is that is happening.
1) When u cough it is a good thing because you are actually bringing up all that .... from when u were on analogs. This is a way that your body is ridding itself of all those years on analogs,

2) IT IS CRITICAL AND WE MEAN CRITICAL TO DRINK WATER WATER WATER, The VG in the Juice you vape will make you dehydrated causing you to have a dry throat and dizziness as both is known to occur in Dehydration. WATER usually get rid of all this.

3) If you are PG Sensitive than go higher in the VG as this usually Helps you with sensitivity issues.

4) If you are vaping to high of a nic that causes you to shake or jittery than go to a lower amount of Nic. If any Vapekateers would like to put their input in here please do. ???????????????

I would like to note that too high a nicotine content can also make you feel sick to your stomach/nauseous. I started out on super high (30-36mg) but after I got used to vaping I started vaping less, and it got the point where it was making me feel sick. I never shook or felt jittery, I just wanted to go puke in the toilet, heh. Going down to 24mg fixed this issue, and now 24mg is starting to get to me so I'm going to have to go down even lower next month (which is awesome! I was hoping to get off nic completely with this, and I'm not even having to TRY to quit it, I'm just naturally edging off on my own!).

I did notice that the initial nicotine level just barely got me off the cigs (which is just as it should be).

Recently, I notice my heart rate rising and I've had a bit more trouble sleeping. I've taken to cutting nic levels back faster than planned because of this, and haven't noticed the difference as far as nic withdrawal goes. It does lower my heart rate and make for easier sleeping patterns, though!

So like xjonquilx, I'm quitting without planning to do so quite that fast. This does not upset me. :)

Just want to congratulate you on that! :toast: I must admit though, I love vaping enough that I think I will keep on doing it even after I'm down to 0mg. I also think it would make a great way to avoid going back - just think, if you get a sudden craving, you can just vape some 0mg and get your "fix" without any danger of getting hooked again. How cool is that? :p

Without coming off rude as I'm more than always willing to help with anything I can since joining. Maybe a sticky could be made for new members about actually using the search function prior to starting a question thread. I've seen at least 10 different threads on" what should I buy to start with?" 7 threads asking about" wraps, wire gauge, ohms" and just many more asking questions that have already been answered in a thread made just the day before. It would reduce clutter and make information easier to find.

Also the site search function could be improved. I have searched the ecf using the default search function and was a majority of times unable to find a thread I had previously viewed. However, using Google with the same search words it came right up. I have no idea why or what this would entail to fix...
