Hey guys just purchased my first e-cig setup. It's a joyetech egoc. Went to VTVapor. It's a brick and mortar that's nearby. Been using in everyday. I love it. Only issue is I still haven't been able to kick analog habit. Anyone have experience using analogs and ecigs? My goal is eventually quit analogs. Right now, it's been difficult. I have been able to cut down. I am hoping to eventually work my way down to 0mg before I quit completely. I am vaping 20mg, and 12 mg. The 20mg is harsh so I am considering DIY to lower the dosage. Just don't want more nicotine then I would get with analogs. Remember I am a newbie. Any and all advice appreciated.

Congrats on vaping, ehack. Just keep in mind every cigarette you don't smoke and vape instead, is an accomplishment. I wouldn't get too ahead of yourself in worrying about getting down to zero nic. I would first concentrate on finding the nic level and flavors that satisfy you enough to keep you from smoking cigs anymore. It's possible if you don't feel like you are getting enough satisfaction from the Ego-C, that you consider possibly a variable voltage device that you can dial up to a higher voltage, producing more throat hit and vapor. Sometimes a standard Ego at 3.7 volts isn't enough to satisfy a smoker entirely. I also recommend 18 mg. as recommended by BlueMoods. The 12 mg probably isn't curbing your nicotine appetite enough, and it sounds like you aren't thoroughly enjoying the 20 mg juice, so maybe that's your problem. Keep trying til you find what totally satisfies you. Also, all juices are different. There might be a 20 mg juice that is harsh, and another different 20 mg juice that isn't. There are alot of variables when it comes to juices.

-Try different nic levels till you find the right spot. For me, 18mg or 1.8% is great. I can vape all day long, not get sick, and get the nic that I need. For those times when its like, UMMMM... GIVE ME A CIG, having some stronger juice on hand, in a flavor you ADORE, isnt a bad idea.

-Juices. Try tons. Personally, Im not really interested in Tobacco vapes. I never smoked cigs for the flavor. I was a Menthol guy, I truly hated non menthol cigs. Thats not to say I didnt enjoy the occasional cigar, or the even rarer pipe, but those tobaccos are entirely different from cig tobacco. Dont try and find a juice that your old cigs tasted like, unless they were menthol. Its probably not going to happen. You might find a menthol which is close to what you smoked though. Me, I like flavors. Fruits, Desserts, Sweet/Nutty etc etc. Once I found some flavors I really enjoyed, is when cigs kinda just left my mind. My very first experiences with ecigs was with menthol flavors, and it just didnt do it for me. Flavors, LOTS of different flavors, is what really helped me not be interested in cigs.

-Get some different types of delivery devices for the Ego. Try some Kanger Evods, Vivi Novas, Strait up Cartomizers, Cartomizer Tanks, etc etc. The EgoC system isn't wonderful, but its workable. Bgut the battery itself is solid. Screw on an Evod or better yet, a Low Resistance Cartomizer, and you'll be in business.

    Boge Low Resistance Cartos-http://www.myvaporstore.com/510_Boge_Cartomizer_5_Pack_p/510bgct.htm
    iClear 16 Clearomizers-http://www.myvaporstore.com/Innokin_iClear_16_Dual_Coil_Ego_Clearomizer_p/ink-ic16.htm
    Kanger Pro Tank-http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kanger_Protank_p/krpt-k.htm

All nice choices. Lots of other stuff too. If the option exists, choose low resistance. It will give the best vape on the Ego Battery.

As for Juices, there is a ton of high quality, USA made juices out there. Check out TasteYourJuice.com, for not only a whole plethora of juice reviews, but also a whole crapton of information for the new vaper.

Im going to suggest you go check out MountBakerVapor. They have a massive selection of juices, which you can completely tailor to your desires(change the pg/vg ratio and choose the nic levels, even add extra flavor shots), and they are, by a large margin, incredibly cheap for what you get. When it comes to liking juices, everyone has thier own likes/dislikes, but with the huge variety MBV has to offer, you shouljd certainly be able to find what you like. Ive tried a whole ton of their juices, and only flat out didnt like one of them. I like some a lot more then others, but everything except one, was tasty and worthy of having in the collection.

I'd suggest put that first half a cig you want in the morning out in your car. Then when you wake up in the morning and you don't feel like getting it, grab your ecig and VAPE ALOT! :) And make sure you have an awesome flavor handy! lol. Well, I know it's sometimes easier said than done. But yea, sometimes we do have to put them FAR!

I think a good juice you love is a big key in quitting all together. Keep sampling juices and find the ones you like and love. Just got my wife to start vaping. She too has to get an analog every now and then. I just keep having her to try more flavors. Ordered 50 dollars worth this evening. Think she will enjoy them.

Ok guys so the first batch of e-liquid I purchased I enjoy. The problem as I said before it that it is too strong for my liking. My sweet spot is 12mg/ml. The 30ml bottle I currently have is 20mg/ml. I am considering picking up a 0mg/ml same flavor. You guys recommend this and what would be nic level after? I am not good at math or I'd figure it out myself. Also the vender I purchased the original eliquid from said to store it in the fridge. Is this something you guys do?
