Hi all,

I'm new to this wonderful forum, and vaping, have been lurking a while... Been off the analogs for 5 weeks, very early days, but I think I'm set to stay off the analogs for life, as long as ecigs and the juice are available. Its great to be able to breathe again and no more coughing and stinky smells!!!

I have a question about dripping. I've tried a few tanks, and a few cheap atties, and then recently I bought these to try out different liquids. I found them to be very good, and at least equal to my other setups, which is leading me down the path to get a Reo Grand or mini. These dripping atomizers don't seem to need "warming up" or tinkering with, they seem to deliver good (refined, detailed) taste and vapor right from the get-go.

The performance of the really cheap dripping atomizers really surprised me, so is the Reo a good direction for me to head in, because that's what I'm thinking? :)

For background info, most of what I use is around 2.5 ohms coil and 6W to 8W power using a Vamo V5 or an itaste MVP. I find 6W to 8W gives me enough vapor at this stage.

Cheers and happy vaping.

I love dripping, which led me to a Reo. Using a bottom feeder is essentially dripping upside down and the flavor is lovely! :) I was using 1.5Ω 306 attys, but have lately been using a hybrid type from Vapage. I like the airflow on the Vapage better, but it floods a bit. I'm still debating if I'll order more. If you like to drip, you'll love the Reo.

Thanks for the encouraging responses.

There is so much to explore and learn. When I first saw the word "ecig" 3 months ago it was on a website where I was looking for model aeroplane parts. I thought what rubbish is this, how can an electronic device come anywhere close to performing like a real cigarette? (Me being into electronics too). I tossed a coin as to whether it was worth doing a google search on electronic cigarette...sure am glad I did!

Hmmm, so the Reo is a good idea, I'm liking this idea, I really am :)

Reo = great mech with bottom feed. Accept no substitute.

They make a dripping RDA for the REO that has a hole to feed juice up from the bottom to the deck.

As to atomizers: I dripped with them for years. Standard atomizers (With bridge). However, the price on those atomizers is fine...within range of the bridged ones...so why not? As long as they hold up. I used to get a month or two out of an atty with regular cleaning.

They don't hold much ....3 or 4 drops. About 10 hits. YMMV. But with a REO to feed it, you're set. The only thing you need to know about using a mech is that the voltage will vary a bit as the charge wears out. With regulated mods...like your itaste...the voltage is held to a specific setting for a consistent hit. With a mech, you're basically vaping right off the battery.

Get good batteries. Search ECF.

I love my Reos. I bought a mini to start off with because I was nervous about the size. The Reo mini 2.1 is very tiny. I bought another Reo within 2 weeks of getting my first one.

Actually, I never liked dripping. It was too messy. The Reo is a great device. I would recommend to you that you check out the Reomizer 2. I use regular dripping attys sometimes, but they don't compare to my Rm2

Thanks all for the helpful advice. Looking at threads in the new members section, this forum seems to have a genuine "lets help the newbs" attitude, very refreshing to see.

AttyPops thanks for the good batteries tip, good advice :)

As a result of further thought (intelligent or otherwise - hopefully the former), I ordered a silver hammertone Grand and Rm2, along with a couple of the suggested spare parts just in case. If I'm lucky, the package will arrive in a few weeks, hopefully before Christmas! Thanks for tipping me over the edge, I needed it!
