Also something to keep in mind:

If you're not making a flush connection to the 510 the device may jump ohm reading and self adjust the power. (A 2.4 ohm coil needs more voltage to reach the same wattage)

I.E. - You have a 1.8 ohm coil not sitting flush, the device accidentally reads it as 2.5 when activated. It may be set at 7w, but the voltage is going to be way higher than it should to compensate for the higher ohms it thinks is there. Leading to a burnt taste. It has happened to me before.

Think of it like firing a 1.8 ohm coil at 5+volts, not fun sometimes.

Yes, I have now 4 tanks that can have more power without burning: EVOD2, T3S (from the same pack of coils only 1 can have 7.5w+), T3D and PT3 mini. On most of them I can go as high as 10w. For the EVOD2, PT3 mini and T3D I use the 1.8 Ohm BDC from Kangertech without problems. The EVOD1's I gave away to someone using a standard EGO battery. So I'll just stick to those tanks.
