what makes you think amajn is doing it right ?

imo blowing through the threaded end is more effective, and its easier to stuff the cleenex up the hull and let it soak overnight.

;)
For starters you should not stick anything into the Hull the mesh bridge pulls the fibers off whatever you stick in there and when you use that atty you are burning the fibers and inhaling it!

But if you want to blow thread end first its fine...but its easier to blow cartridge side out and its a larger opening so you have more air go thru~

This is the cleaning method I use as well. I do everything you did in the video, but also do a quick dry burn after cleaning it, then blow the atty out with a can of compressed air.

It brings the flavor back and gives a nice, clean vape. I've been doing this since January/February when I got my 510 and haven't had an atty die on me yet. Even been using it at 5V on my passthru for a couple weeks. *knocks on wood*

I dunno. This one just seems to work, whereas I've seen people say they did all these crazy soaks and whatnot, then had the atty die on them the next day. At least for me, this simple solution seems to be the best one.

Just do not forget to prime your clean atty with 3-4 drops of liquid! If you don't prime it, it's going to taste terrible and you'll get that horrible, horrible dry atty taste. I keep a bottle of cheap Dekang tobacco flavor around for priming. No sense in wasting good juice to do that. :p

well, i like this method. wrap the threds in a towel and blow, and then dry burn for 5 seconds, blow again. BUT one of my attys does great, burns red hot and everything, the other gets wrm, but i cant see the coil heat up.... so i dont think its hits as good... ive had my 510 for about 4 days now, so its not blown, just doesnt perform well.

For the atty you have that doesn't glow:

1. Blow it out as best you can
2. Rinse in hot tap water and blow the water out
3. Repeat 1 and 2 a few times
4. Let it COMPLETELY dry - like bone dry - if you power it and hear sizzling, it's not dry - I would suggest using a hair-dryer on low for a good 2 to 5 minutes
5. Now that it's dried out, dry burn it and it should heat up nice and red in just a few short seconds
6. Rinse REALLY good - this will help get out anything you've burnt off and has become ash
7. Let it dry

I had a similar problem, and the reason I couldn't get it to glow nice and red is because I wasn't letting it dry after rinsing. I had to consult Scottbee for help on getting it rocking and rolling!
