Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. How're the new diggs now that you've had a few week to settle in?
Still loving my new place...and still unpacking, sorting and getting rid of stuff that should have been tossed long time ago..

Ya knew I'd snag that pup....didn't ya?

gonna add a little more about the ulnar nerve here....ever hit your funny bone? that jolt you get is from the ulnar nerve. How many times a day to do bend your arm? Neurosurgeon explained that it's much like a piece of elastic that loses it's elasticity over time and ceases to snap back, remains stretched. Ever lean on your elbows? don't do it !!! Puts pressure on that nerve. When you reach a point where that pinky and ring finger won't wake up....it's amazing how the entire hand is affected and how fast muscles, you weren't even aware of in your hand, atrophy. Surgery isn't a guarantee to work. IF the nerve renews itself...you're looking at a rate of 1/2" a month.....how many inches from your elbow to those fingers? ;)

Yeah, I've really had to watch myself and how I use my right elbow. I don't lean on it on tables, but I do tend to wedge it against the arm of my chair at work when I'm on the computer. The biggest thing for me was the flex during the night because I've always slept with one arm crooked rightly under my head and the other one curled up against my chest. I'd wake up with those two fingers of my right hand numb for a while and I thought it was just from sleeping on it and cutting off the blood supply. Then they started to be numb and wouldn't work. And when it started taking longer and longer for it to go back to normal, I knew there was an issue.

I got some beanbag wrist rests but my hands don't like them. I keep one on my desk to rest my elbow on which does help.

Get this:
IMAK Non-Skid Mouse/Wrist Cushions with ergoBeads | Staples®
s0358309_sc7

I bought it as a wrist rest for in front of my mouse but I tend to put extra pressure on the wrist when using it. I had it plopped on the desk when I leaned my elbow on it one day. It's great for that. The beads shift so you never dig your elbow into hard desk. (They also make cute little ones that Staples carries for $6 that might work well with chair arms. But they come in pretty colors so they look dirty much faster than the big one.)

A 'liked' post does not mean you've got that number (or that you yourself are even liked). The first person to pick a number gets that number whether it's marked on the board or not. When we 'Like' your picks that means one of the five helpers are marking them on the board. If there are any mistakes/conflicts, we will reply to your post. So check back a while after you pick to see if we noted any problems.

Please do not edit your pick posts.

If someone already took your number, or an error was made, please wait for a helper to post the error. Please "Reply With Quote" to the helper's post with your new pick.

A helper will announce a new round of picks at random times, so check back often and keep track of what round you've already made picks in.

Rounds may last anywhere from 16 seconds to 36 hours based solely on our whim. There are no rules. Life is unfair. Good luck!

We call it a "reset" when we go into a new round. You still keep all of your previous picks. If you miss a round you do not get to back and make up picks. You can only make picks for the current round.

The game ends when the sheet is filled. We then announce the winning pick.

Play to win! There will be no PIFing of number picks. The winner of any contest can PIF the prize if they choose to do so Here.

ALL Birthday Poopies will get additional picks on their ECF listed Birthday :w00t: (1 birthday per year please :D)

Theses aren't rules. They are guidance. And they may change at any time. Without prior notice. Maybe even without ensuing notice.
