All this talk about building coils SO makes me want to get into it...but I'm only 2 mos into vaping and haven't even tried all of the liquids I've wanted to try yet and have only really used 2 different, fairly basic setups (Halo Triton and dripping on a 510 atomizer), which I know are both pretty amateur. What is typically the step in between what I'm using now, and rba's? Is there sort of a "recommended segway" into that sort of advanced tinkering?

My recommendation is watching videos on YouTube, lots and lots of videos.
I've learned allot from them, start with a cheaper RDA for the first time.
I personally think the RDA Octopus by SMOKtech is the way to start, easy to rebuild and lots of room to do it.
I think Gotvapes is out of stock?

Congrats on making it for 2 months .

Mr. Max had some great advice, watch plenty of youtube videos. Making coils is SOOOO easy after you master it, but even if you are good with your hands, coil-making can and will be hard at first. Just when you think you got it down, you make a beautiful coil that just isnt working right. Maybe theres a hot-spot, maybe the coil is to tight on the wick, ....just dont get frustrated. Most of us waisted a ton of wick and wire trying to perfect our craft. :) Just keep trying. (I mean when you start of-course) ;)

Attention all GV Poopies.....Attentione!

We have a little .... mmmmmm....game of sorts to play.

At the end of this game, We made note of that post number. ALL posts from that point till just before the start of the next contest are entered into this little game. We will randomly pick several posts (via random.org) to award bonus pickins for the next game to be played at the winners leisure during that game. The more you post, the greater your chances :D

I'm really liking Todd's tutorials. They do a lot of step-by-step rather than "I put a 3 wrap on this and that and it tastes great." And he's not affiliated with any company as far as I can tell (here or in the UK.)

ETA: And if you are going to try rebuilding you need either a multimeter or an oHm reader (the little black box in the vid.)
