Cute puppy!

All this talk about building coils SO makes me want to get into it...but I'm only 2 mos into vaping and haven't even tried all of the liquids I've wanted to try yet and have only really used 2 different, fairly basic setups (Halo Triton and dripping on a 510 atomizer), which I know are both pretty amateur. What is typically the step in between what I'm using now, and RBA's? Is there sort of a "recommended segway" into that sort of advanced tinkering?

That's what I have been doing also. Coil first then pull the wick through

Congrats on making it for 2 months.
Mr. Max had some great advice, watch plenty of youtube videos. Making coils is SOOOO easy after you master it, but even if you are good with your hands, coil-making can and will be hard at first. Just when you think you got it down, you make a beautiful coil that just isnt working right. Maybe theres a hot-spot, maybe the coil is to tight on the wick, ....just dont get frustrated. Most of us waisted a ton of wick and wire trying to perfect our craft.Just keep trying. (I mean when you start of-course)
