Is the term 808 a reference to the size/connection, like the term 510? If so, then would all 808's be universal? Any attachment/charger would fit? I guess i'm asking of all if the accessories are interchangable. Thanks in advance for all info.
808 refers to the thread. There are several types out there, but the two main ones are 510 and 808 but 510'is more popular, it has nothing to do with the size of the battery.
All kr808d1 are compatible. Those are the most common. Which company do you have and what are you trying to use?
Just got an ego c w/clearomizer today. I want an add'l charger and was wondering if I have to buy a brand name or just an "generic" 808 at a lesser price

Egos are 510, not 808.
You can use any delivery system that is either labeled 510 or ego.
The ego also has the outside threading for cones and stuff. There are some delivery devices (ie ego stardust or Phoenix 2.5ml bottom coil ) that use that threading instead of the 510.
For chargers, you can't just use a 510 charger. You need an ego charger (about $6-$9)
Just wanted to add you can also get adapters that allow you to use 808 batteries with 510 carts/ tanks/ ect or the other way around as well. The same goes with ego, u can get 510 to ego adapters. As above you do need an ego charger tho to charge an ego batt
I am finding after Modding a KR808 they are weak on staying power. Guess getting a Apollo Vtube spoiled me. Now to find a new work setup. Leaning toward Eric or T. What do you suggest?
If you are looking for a straight battery, not a vv like your vtube, I suggest the kgo. The ego is only 3.3-3.4v (unless you get a twist). The kgo is 3.7v
