Hi all
I just got my Ego kit today and got my batteries charged and tried it out for the first time. It was a bit confusing lol I am not the most tech savvy human but I did figure it out with the helpful instructions and visual aids at Cignot. Anyway I got 5 prefilled cartridges with my kit.
My question is how long does a cartridge usually last before I need to refill it?
I am going to be at a festival for the next 2 days working it and I won't be here at home so I need to know what all to take with me.
Thanks in advance.
Kim

Everything! lol.
I hope you ordered spare juices so you can top off your carts because you'll find out that carts won't last as long as you expect. they only go through the top half ammount and the bottom half usually stays in there. Happens to all of us. thats y i started dripping because i was constantly refilling carts. It just made "refilling" easier. Um you can top off your carts using the ejuice i hope you ordered by dripping a few drops onto the Polyfill (cotton looking stuffing) in the cart to make it look kinda like a slushy.. Um bring your battery charger because your ego should last you all day but you will want to plug it in at night. Mine last me all day, sometimes i puropsly don't plug it in at night just so i can drain the battery and give it a good full charge once in a while. Hope that helps!

Hi Starchild!! Congratulations on your eGo. I'm also new to it and started with a regular 510. You will need to have your second battery charged with you. The eGo lasts forever it seems to me. I can use one battery with moderate use for a whole day, from 6:00 to 11:00pm. I have learned to drip and that is my favorite method but I started with the pre-filleds and found that I liked to top off those carts with the other liquids I purchased, one or two drops at a time when the flavor would start to go away and that did the trick, of course, until I learned to drip :).

For what you should have with you, I would recommend your extra charged battery, your charger if you will be where you can charge, an extra automizer and your liquid. Since you can refil your carts with your own liquid, you don't need to take more than one. If you don't have any liquid, I would keep at least a couple of the pre-filled carts with you. Since you are just starting, you won't really know how much you will vape until you actually get started. I love the flavors of my liquids so much that I actually crave them..LOL. I vap all the time and have a blast doing it. Each change in flavor is a new experience even though I've vaped them all.

Congrats again and enjoy!!

Congrats on the eGo and vaping. If this is your first kit it was a great choice. I hope you have juice too, you didn't mention juice just the pre-filled carts.

I would say definately bring juice an extra atomizer and your charger. So far my eGo last me about 7 hours on average and I am a sit at the desk and chain vape kinda girl. Some people say thiers last about 8, 10 and even 12 hours. It really depends on the person using it. Carts are the same with each persons use varying, they only last me a little while before I have to refill them. Maybe a few hours? I cant keep track, I try and then forget I am keeping track and drip and ruin my keeping track LOL. Generally I go through 3-5ml of juice a day if that helps guage it any.

I saw festival and gone for 2 days and thought uuugghhhh scary! I just went camping for 3 days before my eGo came and had to bring a ton of crap. Batteries , chargers and pass through s for when the batteries didnt charge fast enough. I can easily go through one of the better brands of kr808 batteries in an hour. The kids said it was my mobile .... lab. I did manage to get through it though.

Thanks for all the info. Yes I did get extra juice to try out. I am a menthol smoker so Vicki at Cignot suggested I try some small bottles to see which one I liked the best so I ordered 5 bottles to try out so I have plenty of that.
I will be coming home at night from the festival but will be gone for over 12 hours a day and will not have access to electricity while I am gone so I wanted to be sure I had enough supplies with me. I am going to pack up my stuff and have extra in the truck so I don't have any issues LOL.
I will try out dripping a bit too to see how that works tonight. That is a good idea. I am not a huge fan of the taste of the prefilled ones right now. They are ok but a tad sweet for my taste.
Thanks again
Kim

If I was you, being new to all of this. I would take everything that you have. Put it all in a bag along with the instructions.

For Li-Ion batteries, it is recommended that you do not charge them any longer than needed. Meaning, When the light turns green. Take it off the charger. Your not going to kill the battery if you forget. But constant over charging will reduce the lifespan.

Also, Li-Ion batteries last longer when they are not fully run down. It is better to charge them more frequently that it is to drain the battery completely and then charge it.

Enjoy you eGo. Mine is in the mail right now. You made a great choice from what I've read. At least you didn't have to buy 4 different brands before you got to an eGo like I did. ;)

I leave my ego batt on the charger overnight and its fine. I wouldn't worry about it. Nothing has exploded here.. hahah. Um by the sounds of it if you have a "kit" i'm assuming you have two batteries. Charge them both up, take them. even though 1 ego batt should last you the whole day, but you will have the peace of mind knowing you have a back up. Take your juice you wanna use for the day. Im sure 1 bottle will be fine. I found that switching too many flavors in a day can make the atty taste kinda bad w/o any maintence. and jus for kicks throw in an extra atty even though i go for a day and realy on only 1.

Thanks! Yes I got 2 batteries with my kit and I purchased an extra atomizer. It makes sense to only use one flavor (my concept) at a time until I get used to using this thing.

I will pack up what I have and yes instructions lol are a good thing too. I may need to print out some pages tonight and take with me. This is certainly turning out to be an adventure!

One more question, sorry for all these lol you can sure tell I am new to this. Should I take the battery off the charger as soon as it turns green or can it stay on the charger and not do any damage to the battery?

While you do not have to disconnect as soon as it turns green, best is to disconnect after it turns green. Fully discharged bat. takes about 2 hrs. to charge.

You may need to pull the filler out to fill cart full.

Dont worry..

After about two weeks of vaping you'll answering questions to new people like yourself.

There is a little learning curve involved but it is a small one. Ask as many questions as you like. There is always someone online that will have an answer.

One more suggestion I would make. Of the five bottles of juice you got from cignot, pick the one or two favorites and get another bottle plus five more cartidgres on order. I like to have at lest a 14 day supply of such on hand because of the time it can take to reorder or if my favorite flavor is out of stock.

If I ran out of juice or cartomizers right now I would cave in and go back to analogs. And it only takes one or two analogs to start that masness al over again.

At least for me it does.
