battery cap upgrade? is that a latch? lol

It's a fold out D-ring. It stays nice and tight until you pull it down. They should be out shortly. Better pic

It looks way too difficult to wick for me

May have to pass unless I can get some assistance :w00t:

I'm undecided about it. I'll wait for more user reviews and after I find out how much the replacement heating cores are. I already have 3 months on my uwell Crown coil and it's still going strong, so 3 months on the Pure is no advantage to me. The big question that will settle it for me is if it really tastes better than a traditional coil.

I will have to get one when released for the ML, or will feel I might be missing out

Think Ti or SS is as good as it gets for flavour though mate

Not even sure why I keep buying new tanks/mods ..... oh yeah I keep logging into ECF :w00t:

I'm interested in the SX pure also. I bought a Griffin two weeks ago and dropped it yesterday. Glass didn't break, not a scratch on it but it bent something inside. It leaks now and looks like the leaning Griffin on my mod now. I'm trying to hold off buying another to replace it to see if the Yihi model comes out! I have two Subtank mini's and a Uwell crown. I love my Kangers but the Uwell not so much. Everything I put in it, (even in the RBA) it guzzles juice. Even the Griffin didn't drink juice like that. Anyone know why?

Seems like a third of all Crown users get tanks that leak. It sounds like a quality control issue with gaskets. Some people have reported fixing their tanks by replacing some of the gaskets.

I have 4 of those sieves sitting on my shelf.
No amount of wicking works, short, long, stuffed, not stuffed, S wick, bunny ears, you name it.
Spaced coil, compressed coil.
When it works, I love it. Right until I don't.

I have one that leaked 50% of the time. I started filling it from the bottom and haven't it leak since.
Try filling from the bottom.

I'll give it a try, though the top fill is one of the reasons I like the tank. Much less messy.
Saves on 510 wear and tear too.

If it makes a difference, I've never had an immediate leak. Always hours to days after wicking a new coil. Or a new coil for that matter.

I guess I'm stumped as to what your problem could be. I know people who use high VG with the Crown have wicking issues. They have to poke holes into the wick to get it to work. I use 70%PG 30%VG and have no problems.

Oh, I'm talking about the RBA. I used the factory coils that came with it, just so they didn't go to waste. When they were gone, it's the RBA's show.
So, people have their wicking so tight they have to poke it with needles?

I have a couple Crowns I use the RBA deck on both mostly without problem. I've tried the S wick method but didn't like it. The way I do it now is I place the coil about 1.5mm off the hole in the deck, then I run the wick through, I place the scissors against the bottom of the deck with back of scissors touching the deck so I'm cutting the wick about 1mm longer on each side of the outside of the deck. That barely gives me enough length to push up the wick when putting the shield on. Then I just tuck the wick down covering the juice holes. I'm usually on the thicker side with VG being around 70% - 80% and I have on occasion had to pull the tank off and spread out the cotton a little more to help it wick better, usually when I've just used to much wick material (less is more) sometimes, other times I'll just take off the top and put it back on allowing it to put a little pressure into the tank & forcing juice into the wick. I'm usually vaping in the 23J - 25J range so it's not like I'm building coils similar to the prebuilt that come with it so that may be different than you. Only other thing I can think of for you to check if yours is leaking is make sure the little rubber O ring on the bottom of the deck is seated and not damaged. The way it's designed I think it would either have to be the seal or just flooding due to wicking, cant see any other way for juice to get past.

I didn't know you were talking about a RBA. The people who talked about poking holes into the wick with a needle were using factory coils.

I'm going to try your method.
No, I've got 4 of these that all leak, so IMO, not an o-ring. Unless I was lucky enough to get the same flaw on 4 tanks bought at different times from different vendors. Sometimes a lot, 2+ml, sometimes just puddling on the 510 connector of my mods. But, absolutely random. Frustrating.
I'll agree it is wicking, but I've yet to find the magical incantation needed to get this tank to play nice.
