Played around with the sxqi software and all i can say is that this mod Has huge potentials.

However, the configs settings can be a little confusing because it is adjusted under the settings tab and from the looks of it, it's solely for TC.

However there are WATTAGE and JOULES mod selection in the config tabs and selecting wattage means its on VW mode but the tcr adjustments and temperature adjustments don't get blanked out which makes me wonder if config1 that i have set on wattage is in VW or TC mode.

Another thing is that I've set Config 2 on manual TCR for SS 316L with 50 Joules but when i select config2 from my sx mini, it displays this weird: "」53J " thinggie on my screen.

Definitely not a LCD error as I've tried displaying it both in the left and right orientation and both showed the same erroneous display.

I've yet to connect a SS setup on it yet to see if it goes away but that's what i get.

Also, are the SXQI~S profiles tagged to the configurations? Say if s1 is set for a curve of 65watts and i were to suddenly change to config 2 which is TC mode and select S1, will it jump back to VW mode's S1 preheat curve or retain a stock straightline unconfigure preheat curve since i didnt set any preheat curves for config2.

Yeah i know I'm confusing you guys but damn, yihi needs to step up their game to make the sxqi software more intuitive.

Did you look at the voltage it displays in that mode? Mine was over 9V, which I have no way to tell if it is actually going to try to send that much voltage or if it is a display error. I didn't even hit the fire button, just went back to a 'normal' config until there is clearer info on what all te new settings/abilities are.

Ok, played a bit with the SXiQ software. Set a temp curve, saved it to the ML and it automatically set the mode to SXI-Q and since I used the S1 to create the temp curve, that is what is set on the device.
The display only shows the base joules you use, which is set in the software by dragging the dual arrows up or down. That will increase the entire curve's joule setting. For example if the base is 5J and you set the curve data points to 13.5J, moving the base to 10J will result in the data points being 18.5J.
Since the display on the device never changes and there is no real-time output in the software, I have to judge by the vape if it is doing what I set. I believe it is. I set a pretty high first 3 seconds J value then down to my normal J value. The initial hit is pretty warm.
I played with it a bit more and got a very nice vape out of it using my Crown rba with a .25 SS coil.
I think I'll really like this mod!
I wish it had some sort of a real-time display though so I could tell what is happening without just relying on trust. But, it's nice the way it is.

I kind of get the feeling that it's like YiHi said it's not that much of an upgrade from the M with the 2.3.2 FW. Since I only use Ti I just can't justify getting one. The DNA200 if there was actually a good one out there might be. The most solid one I have seen to me seems like the Vapor Shark but why they only made them with Lipo packs I'll never understand. So I think I'll save my money and stick with my 5 M's

You don't own an rx200 then for the money it costs it's a brilliant mod I've got one and will be ordering three more for my stockpile box.
No I don't have one but a friend does and he said it works ok but you have to turn the temp higher with the different wires. I think YiHi did a great job on their last upgrade. I haven't tried the NI200 but I know it was right on from the start.

I apologize for the BAD info on the warranty. Sweet-Vapes BSed me on that one! After a week of use I have really grown to like this mod. I especially like the SXI-Q settings!!!
You don't have to apologize for Sweet Vapes BS. I just crossed them off my vender list. Thx for the info..

I ordered an RX200 mate, seems a steal to me at the price

Battery life is my reasoning not 200w

I still have not upgraded the firmware on one o my M classes so can see diff if any

One running in Ni mode at 260F, the other n Ti at 420F ......... no noticeable diff using the same builds and CW Gr1 Ti

Spoke to one of YiHi's rep over the phone and got a much clearer understanding of the SXQ-I software.

Basically, Configurations 1~5 are similar to say escribe's profile settings.

If you have 5 atty's running on ni200, Ti, SS304, KANTHAL A1 and Dicode's nife80 respectively, you can dial in the settings for each of these wires and save them into configuration 1 to 5.

So say for example you're on Kanthal A1 which is your fourth atty, you can go to Configuration 4 in SXQI and select watts and then select the wattage you would want to vape on. The MANUAL TCR and other TC related adjustments would still be there but you can ignore them as they wouldn't have any effects on your settings since the device recognizes that configuration 4 is set up for power mode.

After you're done, click the save button to download config 4 into your device.

So once we've got the configs set, we can move on to the preheat curve settings. In the preheat curve settings menu, we can see on the bottom that the curves adjusted will be for configuration 4. So we have S1 to S5, meaning to say 5 different types of preheat curve profiles can be assigned to configuration 4. For each of the curves throughout S1 to 5,remember to click save after you've configured them in order to upload it into your device.

That is in short how you configure your ML class.

There is however one thing I've yet to get clarified and that is under the configuration settings menu, there is actually an option to assign to config to either eco, soft, normal, powerful, powerful+, sxqi1~5 and the m1 m2 m3...m5.

I'll probably have to call up YiHi regarding that.

But for now, we know that for each configuration settings, there's up to 5 different preheat curves we can assign to it which makes that 25 diff preheat curves if you've got 5 diff config settings dialled in on your mod.

As for the erroneous display showing 9.99V, that happens when you're trying to vape in power mode on a wrongly setup config that's in TC mode. Tbh, I'm not too sure so I'll try it when i get home and see whrn that happens.

Another thing to note is that if a said configuration is set up for TC mode, it will only go into TC mode properly if you select JOULES on your sx mini ml menu. If you simply selected the config, the mod will get confused and display error messages.

Also, it seems that the tilt sensor gets activated whenever you go into confuguration selection.

I'm guessing these are some of the bugs YiHi needs to get sorted out in their next firmware update.

@ariffza the ML definitely wouldn't fail you.

Another thing to note is that the ML's power delivery is just soooo smooth and powerful.

I have a TFV4 mini with clapton coils on it and after setting a preheat curve for it, it hits like a train. Instantaneous and 0 ramp up.

And on my hobo 3.1 rda with dual SS setup, it hits like a train as well with no annoying burnt hits.
