It's unfortunate the final hearing is one day after the Judge Leon / FDA ruling. Since you say they keep quoting from the FDA "news release" I would imagine they will use his ruling as fuel for the fire. You should watch that ruling carefully so you can go in armed with facts and counter-arguments.

There will not be a ruling today, and probably not for weeks. This is just final arguments.

You're absolutely right. I am stuck at work right now and will not be able to make it. I hope it goes well and you can post the results on here.

A county wouldn't have any ability to outright ban the ownership of an e-cig anyway.
