Interesting! I can relate to it, think a lot of people can. Every time I've tried to quit smoking I became depressed, except this time with my PV.

To be more accurate, every time you quit using nicotine, you became depressed (as do I.)

The Swedes who switched from smoking to snus (a type of moist snuff) and those of us who switched to electronic cigarettes prove the point that it is not necessary to become nicotine-abstinent in order to become (and stay) smoking-abstinent.

Yes, I realize that a lot of non-Swedes have become smoking-abstinent using snus. It's just that the bulk of the research on this has been conducted on the Swedish people.

To have only quit 20 or 30 years ago. But then again, who would have know that there were much safer alternatives available other than gum and patches.... Oh wait, they did know but they were too busy demonizing "spit tobacco". I almost forgot.
