Newb 510 user

Hello all. I'm a new member to this forum. I saw an ad on TV about the
EzSmoker and decided to do some research. I ran across this forum (nice
place other than the server busy messages and being logged out continually?)
and spent a complete day and night reading posts. I decided to treat myself
to a 510 no box kit from CigNot as a 42 b-day present to myself. I am a
thirty year smoker and really want to quit them for my kids sake. I would
like to see them get married and have kids rather than die.

I also purchased a 10ml bottle of 26mg Mar-Boro from e-Smokin. Well the
510 kit and the e-juice arrived in the mail today. Three day shipping from
both suppliers. e-Smokin also included a trial size (3ml?) of peach and a
pair of tweezers in a nice cloth bag. Pretty cool in my book. I unpacked
and decided to try out one of the 510's right away with one of the included
carts. All I can say is WOW. Three drags later and I believe I must have had
one heck of a nicotine buzz... laughs. The carts that came with the 510
say Marb High on them and I am guessing they are 18mg? I did refill the
cart after it ran dry with the 26mg and I believe it is a little too strong for
me.

Anyhow, I just want to thank everyone for all the excellent info on this site.
You made my decision much easier and cheaper than I had imagined. Now
I just need to loose the habit of running to the gas station for more analogs.

I too just got my 510 in the mail. Ordered it direct from China, making it super cheap to smoke. So far so good. However, I couldn't make it threw the day at work without having one. I tried, but job is way too stressful.

Congrats Imeazy, I think we all felt the same way you did on your first sesion. Kind of makes your head spin a little. You will get use to it and all will seem very well!

I smoked one marlb cart out along with a battery, Ripped the filler out and dripped directly 2 drops marlb 24 with 3 of ecopure rich 24....sweet vape on my lips, dram of Laiphroag 1/4 cask and everything is peachy.

Well my second morning impression on these things is a little mixed.
While I did enjoy vaping it yesterday I woke up this morning with one
heck of a sore throat? It's just now staring to disappear. Has anyone
else had this happen? I made sure to blow the atty's out before the
first use and did get quite a bit of liquid out of them. I dripped a few
drops on them before using them with a full cartridge. Maybe it is just
me who knows. I have vapped off and on again today and haven't noticed
it getting worse so I don't believe it is an allergic reaction. Hopefully
this will go away with time. I drink a lot of water daily so I don't think
this is a factor either.

I feel the same way mzruzz. I have tried everything to quit and always
ended up unsuccessful. Hopefully this will be the answer, only time will
tell. Good luck to you and everyone else.

Last, but not least. I have a 3ml bottle of peach that came with an
e-juice order. I tried it out last night and don't care for it at all. If
anyone wants it shoot me a pm with your addy and I will send it to
you on Friday when I get paid. I hate to throw it away.

Hi ImEasy,

I remember my throat being really dry and a little sore at first but it went away in a week or so. Just drink lots of fluid because the PG in the liquid does dry your throat out.

You might want to keep the extra juice in case you ever run out. Just keep it in a cool, dark place and it will stay good for 18-24 months.

Good for you! Another convert. Sore throat will go away after a week maybe at most, never to return (at least due to vaping!). Try doing a search for VG-based eliquid rather than PG; I've found that it is less harsh on the throat.

Thanks for the responses. I thought maybe it was just me or I was getting
a cold... laughs. No need to keep the peach as I will never use it. Not a
fan at all.

Today is day three and the throat is doing much better. I have to admit
though that the first few hits of 26mg in the morning are pretty rough. I
don't grab it right out of bed either. I am normally up for about thirty
minutes before taking a few hits. I was the same way with analogs. I am
going to order some 18mg liquid and see it that helps.

Well day four went pretty well. A few less analogs and little more vaping.
No more sore throat. I am really liking this 26mg Mar-Boro. I did ruin my
other atty by trying a few drops of the peach, even after cleaning it it
still tastes peachy, what a bummer.

Day five. Pretty much the same. A few less analogs, but the vaping hasn't
increased. I take about four or five drags every hour. Seems to do the trick.

I do believe this is going to help me kick the analogs all together one day
soon. I showed it to my son (really wants me to quit) and he was pretty
amazed that I decided to try and do this. Definitely made me feel good
about my decision.

Welcome, Imeasy. Be sure and order more juice now. It goes fast. I made that mistake and had to go back on the analogs while waiting for the package to arrive.

Congrats ImEazy. I wish these had been available when I was your age, believe me I would have tried them then. I'm waiting on my 510 package, it was shipped Tuesday. I ordered the 16mg liquid, the least amount of nicotine I saw. So far I've dodged all the bad things healthwise that come with smoking, but it would take a miracle for me to put the cigs down altogether, since I have been smoking for 54 years. Hopefully this will be my miracle.

ImEazy you made a good choice I think anyway the Joye510 got me and hubby to quit smoking. I also bought from cignot.com they are awesome in my book.

grisgris you might be surprised I read on here a lot that people just plan on using the ecig to cut down and they end up quitting. I never thought my 3 pack a day hubby who really LOVED to smoke would ever quit but we both quit the same day we got the Joye510 and I have to say a month in we are both happy.

P.S. I agree with the other poster -- get some liquid you like (or can stand) sooner rather than later. It can go faster than you think. My last order from Rocky Mountain Vapor arrived 2 days after I sent it, and they have good prices on liquid (and lots of tobacco flavors). I just ordered 3 more bottles from them today, even though I've got 2 10ml bottles that are more than half full.

Good luck eazy, glad you found this place before you did the tv thing.I found e-cigs while searching for cheap ciggarettes,like there is such a thing,and no longer crave analogs at all - 30 some yr 2+pck day habit gone! This is eazy.

Wow so many of us newbies joing this great new way of getting our nic fix! I'm as amazed as a lot of you are too! 38 years of a pack a day, got my 510 last friday and haven't had a cig since! Well i did try a couple puffs, went yuck, and put it out.
I think we all vapors might have some political clout soon LOL!
