Newb can't STOP vaping!

Okay, here's my problem: with analog, I get to the end of a cig and put it out...
Especially with the pass- through, I just keep going and going and going! OMG - somebody stop me!

Get rid of the passthrough and put your ecigs in another room, not next to your computer. Voila, you are not vaping all the time.

That's what I do. That way I have to get off my .... and walk to the other room to vape.

LOL it can be addicting at first, to have nicotine in ANY flavor you want, but if you're trying to kick the nic, definitely take dormouse's advice. Oh, and always take dormouse's advice. The all-knowing dormouse will not steer you wrong. HAHA!!! Enjoy vaping, and congrats on quitting!!!

Really - if you make it easy for yourself to vape all the time, and you have no self control, you will vape all the time.

So make it harder for yourself. You'll be amazed - you'll get busy on the computer and 20+ minutes will go by with no vape.

you'll slow down after a while, when I first started I always had the thing stuck to my face too as long as I wasn't giving myself a headache I didn't care I wasn't craving cigarettes at all and over time I not only was using it less but I stepped down my nic fro 36mg to 8mgs I think its a phase a lot of us go through

That is actually really funny! I say that if you're not getting a headache or feeling like crap because of it, keep on vapin'! And I agree with kabonk, you'll slow down naturally. Right now, if your goal is to not smoke, don't worry about it!

But my decision to start vaping had more to do with where I couldn't smoke than with trying to quit ( in my new car, at work, in the restaurant at lunch, at work, everywhere else!). Still it's nice to know that maybe I'll eventually outgrow my new obsession. It's just so COOL to have so many choices.
BTW, I spent hours on this forum before making my first purchase - you guys are amazing!

Thanks dormouse. 16 days in and I thought it was time to cut back on the vaping also. I now place it in another room and if I go out for 1/2 hour I leave my PV at home. Kinda trying to kick ALL the old analog habits and your tip helped immensely.
