Newb Cartomizer issue

Hi All,

I just got a pack of cartos from MV (Refillable 2.5 510) and on the first fill, they were fantastic!

But shortly thereafter, I got a huge drop in TH, warmth, and vapor production. I can still get a nice draw, but after sucking on the thing for like 15-20sec.

What gives? Did my dark liquid (Vaperite VR4) already gum it up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Dark liquid with high VG degrades cartos quickly. Higher PG works best. Sometimes you just have to toss it and start over with a new carto.

That helps... Mine is a 50/50. But should it have had that effect after just one day?

Should I be going for LR cartos or something else?

I vape dark juices all the time with a 50/50 mix and I've never had any of them gum up an carto, especially after less than a day.

Make sure your battery is charged and check the center pin on the carto to make sure it's making a connection with the battery. I would also suggest blowing it out a little bit, putting some more drops of juice on the filler and try it again.

It might also be that you just got a bum carto. It happens and the only way you can check is to use a multimeter and see how many ohms it's putting out.

Also make sure the airway hole is clear. Some cartos airway holes collapse.

Another possibility...vaping faster than the filler can wick liquid to the coil ?
