newb diy mixer has some questions!!!!!

So, tomorrow my order from Mt Baker will be here to mix my own liquids!!!! I got 236ml of 50vg/50pg 18mg unflavored juice and I got 5 different flavors as well.

My question is this: I know that different flavors say 10 - 40% and others say 20 -40%, but how would i go about making just 15ml of juice at a time?

Like...how many ml would I use for the nicotine liquid, and how many ml would i use for the flavoring (i know it depends on what type of flavor, how strong, etc etc..but i am just wanting a guesstimate) for just a 15 ml bottle?

Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Think about it like this....1% of 15ml is .15ml......so if you want 5% flavor .15x5=.75

Thank you!!!! I thought this is how I would do the math (pretty simple when your vg/pg/nicotine is in one liquid already) for it, but i wanted to be sure! Ah, this site is WONDERFUL! And also, thank you for the link to the calculator!

I would start at 7-10% flavoring, you can always add more but you can't take any out...

I would start with 5%.. as eHuman said, you can't take flavor out.

Thank you so much for the advice guys! I agree, start lower and add up - makes sense! It's in Louisville now, so it'll be at my doorstep tomorrow (i've read that some of the flavors i got taste AWESOME freshly mixed - but we all know it gets better with a little age). I've been reading a few different threads on DIY and I have a lot more faith in this then I did when I originally purchased my order!

Where I ordered the flavors recommends you mix the flavor 10-40% but i agree, i think I'll start at 5% and see what it's all about (I personally like my juice to have a lot of flavor - and this is the advantage of DIY!)

& Yep it's pretty easy,especially with the base you bought ....
I have been making my own juice for almost 3 years ...( I always start w/10% Flav. & all VG)
& It is WAY EASIER (& cheaper) Than shopping for & waiting on commercial juice !

Thanks! My husband and i are pretty "new" to vaping, but we kind of jumped in head first! Loving every minute of it! I'm actually counting down the time my DIY stuff and pyrex tanks will be at my door step (about 7 hours from now!!!))! I'm sure there will be plenty of more posts to come from me! Welcome to the hobby of DIY! The paybacks will be huge, I think DIY is great because it isn't hard to find one or two juices that you love and keep enjoying them over and over. OR you can keep learning and experimenting and come up with LOTS of juices to enjoy! Great hobby!

I received my order today! Made some Cinnamon Roll and right off the bat it was delish! I can't even imagine what it will taste like after it steeps for a bit. Also, pyrex tanks = favorite now! Unfortunately my husband's tank was defective. I know he's super bummed about it, but hopefully Mt Baker has a good return and replace policy!

Just wondering if you have a list of your DIY from MT Baker. I'm looking at mixing my own juice and I want to make sure that when I order I have everything I need.

Also, 50/50 PG/VG sounds easy to start with. So if you have time, would you please... please! Thanks!
