Newb Help

Hey,
I have been using the e-cig for about a month now and I really enjoy most aspects of it. However, my least favorite aspect of this e-cig system is finding a good distributor. I purchased a DSE 901 from some random website and have been very happy with it (other than the fact it took a month to get here and the packaging gave the appearance that it was shot from a canon to my doorstep). I dropped it and now one of the batteries has become hyper sensitive. In an effort to get more parts/second charger for it I purchased a DSE 901 starter kit from totally wicked...big mistake. It turns out that the DSE from TW is not the "true" DSE and I hate it (I am working on hopefully getting a refund). On the other hand, I do like the juice they sent me. So here is my problem. Does TW offer any other unit that does not suck? I ask this in case they only give me store credit. Secondly, what is a good distributor that carries the "true" DSE that does not seem like some "ghetto" basement operation? I ask this because I will probably not continue my business with TW after this episode of false advertisement. Thanks =)

I am no DSE expert but... i did some research and the "true" DSE will have SLB written on the male end of the battery. The performance of my "true" DSE is far better than the one from totally wicked. TW got back to me by e-mail stating that they will NOT refund my purchase. I will try calling them in the hopes of some type of compensation. I am just aggravated because I was told by their website i was buying one thing and was sent a $50 peace of junk. So if any of you read this and are thinking about getting a DSE 901 from TW IT IS NOT THE "REAL" THING!!!

I just checked my DSE 901 I got from China, it was the 2nd e-cig I ever purchased and yup it does have SLB written on it.

Why will they not refund your purchase or give you a credit?

"SLB" is short for "Sailbao", which is a manufacturer. There are other manufacturers who make the "901" model. It's like you ordered some chicken at "Kentucky Fried", but you were expecting "Popeye's". I doubt any re-seller would refund your money, or compensate you in any way. Sorry. :(

Thank you for that info quasimod.

Thanks for all the responses. I am just going to keep the e cig from TW. It is a good back up I guess. I just got two manual 901 batteries and one auto from awesome vapor. So far they appear to be the model I am looking for. I have not tried them yet...I am letting them get a full charge as we speak. The only difference between my previous batteries and the new batteries is that the new auto 901 from awesome vapor flashes green...not orange after 5 seconds of use. I have no clue what this means but I am sure it will function the same.
