All I hear about for e-cigs on here is the DSE-901 and the DSE-801. I just recently purchased a Supermini L88 from quitstix.net and I have heard nothing of this brand of e-cig. I can’t even tell which accessories go with it. Does anyone know where I can find more information on this e-cig and other accessories or should I just consider it a lost cause and find a more common one like the DSE-901 or something?

looking at their site, it looks like you have a 901 already.

Well they do have 901 on their site, but L88 seems to be another model.
SweetJane - why not asking for them for a exchange?

To be honest, all depends on the what you are looking for in your e-cig. If you want it to be look as much as possible to a regular cigarette even at the cost of performance super-mini could work out for you. If you don't care about how it looks and want better performance, 901 might be a better option - or maybe Janty Dura C / Joye510. If you don't care of what you vape, then some Magnum mod or SD... ;)

I dont think they will give me an exchange and I honestly dont care what it looks like I just want whats right for me. But at the same time Im starting to getting turned off from the whole e-cigs. It seems to be alot more pricey than i thought it would be and there is so much you need to know and do to make sure you dont overdose ect. This forum has kind of scared me a little lol.

lachesis, makes good points. The 901 is probably one of the most common used PV's (personal vaporizers). The Janty Dura-C/510, Screwdriver (SD) or Zi Moshi are all manual switch PV's that allow you to heat the atomizer as much as you want which gives warmer vapor. The SD, Zi Moshi or magnum all have bigger batteries that last 7-8 hours where the super-mini's batteries tend to last 2-3 hours. Here's a couple of links that might be helpful:

Info. on different models:

PS: PV's do have a learning curve. Don't give up and go back to analogs. PV's are more of a hassle but for most of us the benefits far out weight the hassels. If you haven't already, check out some of the New Member How to video's. Spikey has a very good one. And from my personal experience, the Screwdriver gives the most consistent performance but it does cost a little more but the batteries are much cheaper and last 7-8 hours which reduces the "hassle factor". Here are links for the SD and Zi Moshi:

I understand the feeling of being overwhelmed by the sea of products and which one to go with. I bought 3 different e-cigs. RN4081, DSE901, and DSE801 - and now I'm wishing I had a Joye 510 from all the reviews I've read. But don't be scared! LOL.

Here's my advice, then.

1st. See if you can find Joye510 (it's called Yeti, Titan, Janty Dura C - but it's original name is Joye510) - and if you can find a steady supplier you can trust with all the parts and pieces, this might be the best optioin. Performance, price (50 US dollars), and I personally like the look. Little larger than 100's, but it does seem like this might be the 901 killer.

2nd. If you can't find 510 vendors in Canada - then go with DSE 901. Probably the most popular mini e-cig. Little larger than super minis, but very reliable, decent performance and all - and best part is that it's quite common, your chance of getting spare parts are better than others.

L88 probably means it's 88mm unit. I haven't really heard much of good reviews on smaller units. If you can get a refund out of it, I'd say do it and go with above 2 models if possible.

This is a helpful list if you do want Joye510. Most of them are in US and UK... so I'm not sure which one sends to Canada though. Something you might check on.

As per Totally Wicked USA - I love their juice. But Totally Wicked Titan is at least 2-30 dollars more expensive than other counterparts, so take that into account - but they do have parts and kits plentiful.

SweetJane,

It is a bit confusing at first...I know--I'm only 2 days into this. ;) If I can figure it out, anyone can. I'm dumb with a capital D. 8-o

You replied to my thread about coughing. It was the menthol that was too high. Did you figure out why you were coughing?

I have the DSE 901 and DSE801. I like both of them. If I can help at all, let me know, but I'm sure there's a lot more knowledgeable people here that can help.

Good luck!

Edited because I screwed up...

It looks like the L88 is a bigger version of the DSE8084. In fact, judging from the dimensions listed in the picture they show of the broken down L88 it is a DSE8084. However the 8084 is 8.0mm x 84mm. The dimensions they list for the L88 are 8.5mm x 88mm. Plus the pictures they use have "Heaven Gifts" watermarked on them. It looks like the L88 is a new model that uses similar parts as the 8084/8097.

If you want something that has the look of a real cig, try the M402. It is the length of a 100 cig, and the width of a wide. I started vaping on a 8084, and didn't like it much. Then when I got my 402 I couldn't be any happier.

I still haven't figured out the coughing thing :( but I have a feeling its because I'm getting over a bit of a cold. I'm still a little worried though that I might be sensitive to the PG. But I'm going to give the DSE-901 a try and see if it changes anything. If not Ill try something else I guess slowly but surely. I just no this is the right alternative for me its just about finding whats right for me.
