i've lurked and read and absorbed an abundance of info here, so i figured it was time to say hi!

my intention wasn't to quit analogs; i would've been happy with a 30-50% reduction by the end of the year. i never would have imagined the day i said, "let's give this vaping thing a try" would have been the last time i smoked a cigarette! 39 days later and i still haven't touched a cigarette (though packs are all over my house, car, in my handbags, 3 cartons in the deep freezer, i think having them around and available makes me want them less - if that makes any sense?!!?)

in less than 7 weeks, i have accumulated: 80+ juices, some concentrates (building up a DIY arsenal!), a couple ego twists, two k101s, one k100, a vamo vivi, plastic bolt, smoktech gripper 18350, RBAs, clearos and everything else imaginable! who knew the lifestyle would also be a hobby?!!? :D

i had a cigarette in my mouth when i was 9; inhaling before i was even a teenager. sad, huh!?!? after 25 years of an almost two-pack-a-day habit, vaping has made it incredibly easy. oh, and this forum ROCKS. everything i know, i picked up from all the fine folks here at ECF. hard to believe hundreds of people can touch and positively change someone's life without them even knowing it. that's happening here in a big way!

so, from me to all of you: GREAT BIG HUGS AND KISSES! (and thanks for having me! ;) )

Heck of a first post Pea! Thank you for this. Obviously, you have the vaping bug. Welcome to the Team. Yes, it's a great hobby. What else can you call it? Collector? All of the above in my case. And, YES, this Forum is the bond, is also addictive, and will help you vape and stay analog free, particularly if you participate. Good luck, Power up and Vape On!

Hello pea. That sounds pretty darn close to my story . I've been doing this for a little over 5 months and I have finally gotten around to joining in here. Definitely use this site a lot for answers and honest opinions. At this point it hasn't been cheaper than smoking. Like you I've got enough gear and DIY supplies to last for quite some time. I know I won't stop either. What a hobby!

Hi peabrain, and welcome in! I'm an "accidental quitter" too, and I also have 3 cartons of stinkies stashed in the freezer ! (Not that I have any intention of going back to them. They're there in case of vapocalypse, along with several litres of nicotine base... heh heh)

Anyway, there's so much to learn here, so much to try out and experiment with, and the equipment is evolving so quickly, it's a lifetime pursuit to know it all. Here's to our longer and happier life as vapers! :toast:

Pea,

Your story is very similar to mine. Most of us think we are so different, but most
of us are so similar in our experiences. This is a great comfort to realize we are
are not alone in our quest to free ourselves from those terrible, horrible, cancerous,
cigarettes. Ha! Dramatic yes, but true. Vape on!!!

One more congrats. This is great ain't it? I still have 1/2 can of tobacco around. The first couple of weeks I was going to very solemnly bury it in the garbage, the next two weeks I was going to make a lively YouTube video about about it then I got on with life and forgot all about my can of tobacco until now.

Wonder what I'll end up doing with it?
