I believe they were speaking of the general female running joke of properly training a man to behave as they would wish him to behave.

For example, a woman may say to a friend when she received flowers from her husband, "I've trained him well."

At this point, I believe, they are suggesting that perhaps you have not yet reached that ideal state that a woman wants from her mate.

OR, it could be she was making a joke about the Mistresses of the Hounds and YOU are their ...... But I may be adding too much meaning to the phrase at that point. The thought, however, did amuse me.

Wruf wruf......... Down boy....

Dont feel singled out.. All men are a type of hound in the eyes of a lady..........................

This is true but your not a dog, moreso an Alpha male worthy of being trained or schooled in the fine art of seduction and mating. (A keeper) A dog is almost always untrainable, he is too wild and enjoys roaming. (Not a keeper, he isn't ready)

Sweety your more Alpha male who is flirtatious, kind, honest, helpful and protective. All great quailities.

ps I'm a firm believer in praise, positive re-inforcement, and a reward system not punishment.
