6mg juice with no throat hit

I have this juice, Vapor Society tropical twist, that has 6mg with no throat hit. I know it would be light due to the nicotine concentration but usually there is a light throat hit and with this juice it's non existent. It actually makes me cough when I vape this. Is there anything I can do to improve the throat hit with this juice? I'm on a ego c twist with a vivi nova mini.

Add a few drops of vodka to the juice bottle, shake, and try again...if that doesn't work...
