Hello everyone.
I've been lurking on this forum for a couple months now. I started vaping just a few days prior to finding this forum. I have learned a lot from all you. Thanks. I just love vaping and have been analog free for almost a month now. I have been through several models and would like to share a bit about my experience so far.

I started with the mini which got me sold on the concept but the batts were useless after a few days. I then went to the 510 hoping I could make it through a weekend at my river house in AZ. These batts only lasted till Saturday evening. I then went to the 601 pipe which is so far invincible however more flavor and throat hit would be great. I then purchased 4 gamucci batts and a couple of attys. I like these but am down to a couple of working batts after a couple weeks.

About 2 weeks ago I got the 701 ecigar. I really like this one. It has a large cart and great throat hit and lots of vapor. The batts are cheap. I've been rotating 4 batts and now am down to 2 that work. I have 6 batts more on the way. I just purchased 2 more ecigars. I see there is no forum for the ecigar.

I was vaping a cruefestII and security told me to put out my cigar. I stuck the “lit end” in my cheek and told him it was electric and only vapor. He left me alone the rest of the evening.

I've been getting my juice from Vermont Vapor. I haven't heard anyone talking about this vendor. The flavors are great and they list the ingredients are the bottle and on the website. Has anyone seen this site or used their product?

I'm probably going to be getting one of the mods soon I just haven't decided which one yet. I like the silver bullet and the GG so far. I wish the turn around on a purchase wasn't so long. However, I understand that these are small operations and the devices are custom.

I think the FDA has their heads you know where and I'm very concerned about that.

Anyway, I hope I didn't ramble to much for my first post but like I said, I've been lurking for a while and this has been building up. This is a great forum and hello all.

Nice to meet you Yanorox.

The forums here tend to be created for the more popular ecigs, so maybe thats the reason there isnt one for the ecigar.

re vendors, well there are so many out there, and in general the vendors who have their own sub forums on the site, tend to be the ones most spoken of.

I wish you luck in finding the right ecig for you. Mods are good, I tend to call them the Super ecigs..

And welcome to the forum !

I am only a little over a week new at vaping. I got a Vapor King as my first and as of now I don't see any reason to switch or try others. the VK is a great alternative(forME) to smoking, I am amazed how vaping got the tobacco monkey off my back.

May be in the future I will be gadget savvy, but as for now I just want to keep away from smoking.

That's the trick though, finding something that really works for you consistently. So far I have not found that. The closest think I have found so far is the 701 ecigar, but I'm having trouble with that as well. That is why I'm looking at a mod. I think this might be the way to go for me. The only way to really know is to do some research and then try the product out for yourself.

I know how you feel! (Im a noob too.. also from So Cal!) But I did the same thing in the beginning back in June. I purchased a pretty crappy E-Cig then I found this amazing place! I learned soo much from what others were using and most importantly, 'how' to use the PV's and cleaning them! After my initial icky purchase, and some reviews I got an 112/801 Penstyle, and a week later a Joye510. LOVE THEM both! Without the help and research that people here have provided, I prolly would have given up on the vaping. I have even learned how to save my equipment. So far have only lost 1 801/112 batt, with ALL the equip I bought. Pretty darn good, imo. =) Dont get me started on Juices! :D Im set for long while! Not to mention how content I am...Good luck to ya!

Ps-- MANY thanks to all the great members here I have learned SOO much from! Priceless information. You ALL rock!

You know I just can't find anything that works consistently for me. I thought the ecigar was doing it so I purchased two more from Ruyan direct. I just got them yesterday and the draw is really hard. You have to really puff to get anything out of them. I’ve heard that sometime attys need to get broken in. We’ll see in the next couple of days. I really want to get the GG but there is no word on delivery here in the US right now. I really think this is the right mod for me. It looks powerfull and fool proof. I just want something I can rely on that will just work. I'm a bit frustrated right now. I really don’t want to have another analog again and will do whatever to keep that from happening.

Have you watched Spikey's Video on Intro to Vaping? Great info if you have not already.
From my short experience with Atty's it seems there is a break in period. Some not. Most of mine have fired up on the spot and will not slow until its time for draining them due to flooding. Those babies need some heating up to really get going sometimes... Topping off works well too on your carts. A drop or 2 of Eliquid on the atty bridge helps the process too.
I think its good to remember that vaping is much different than smoking an analog. Your draw and the consistency of vapor will vary from time to time. My draw on PV's are totally different than on an analog. Although I know its frustrating, I know where you are coming from..hang in! You sound determined!

I haven't seen the video yet. I'm about to watch it now. I've heard about the atty break in and I'm hoping that is the case with these new ecigars. I've been dripping and topping off that does help. My first ecigar worked great for a couple weeks and that is what I'm comparing these new ones too. I think the atty needs clean on my first one. I havn't seen any information on cleaning the ecigar atty. The atty doesn't come out easily so I hope I can stick the atty part of the ecigar in some alchohol then rinse then dry and see if that cleans it up. I wanted to make sure I have some back up before I tried this. I understand that vaping is a different experience and for the most part I've happing with it. I'm just trying to find the one product that works for me. I have a few things that I'm using and that is getting me through for now. I appreciate the encouragement and advice. Thanks.

Great to see all the socal folks here. Welcome and thanks for the welcomes.

One of my new ecigars is finally starting to kick in. It took a couple of days and I changed my juice to a freebee I got from LiteCig (rum). A couple days ago I ordered a couple of manual batts for my 510. I'm going to give that set up a try. I originally had the auto batts. Maybe that was the problem. Still think the GG is my best bet and will get one as soon as they are available. Still haven't had an analog. I think I'm more hooked on vaping then I was analogs.

Cheers all.
