Hello Buzz Army,

I had collected my Buzz Pro a couple of days from mail and I had a few problems in the beginning making it produce vapor and getting some liquid in my mouth. I have tried a few things and it seems that the problem is that I screwed the cartomizer too much, now I made it work using the distance shown in this picture:

P1020035.jpg

Is this okay?

The second issue was with puncturing the cartomizer as this is my first mod. Currently there are two holes on each side of the cartomizer (180 degrees apart) which look like this:

P1020034.jpg

I made them using a nail and a hammer. Is this okay?

At this point I made it to produce nice vapor.

Currenlty I am using Boge 3.0 cartos and VG 18 mg.

Unfortunately I do not know how to use this wonderful, beautiful device

a piece of art - really, properly. So if you have any suggestion it is welcomed.

Thanks!

Actually I do have some problems:

1. The maine one: air flow is obstructed somehow if I do not keep is a distance between the carto and the battery as seen in the picture. Is this normal? What is a "slotted screw"? What pin should I pry? I am using Boge 3.0 ordered from Notcigs along with my Buzz Pro.

2. About the Boge cartos, they seem to have a problem as they absorb very slow the liquid. I have been using Kanger before and they absorb much better, but I cannot use the Kanger on the Buzz as they are LR dual coil. It seems that the problem is the material contained inside. I will try some other cartos soon, I just want to know if there is a problem with these cartos or with my Buzz.

3. How long do the batteries last? I am using Powerizer RCR123A. On me they discharged in 1/2 day.

4. About the LED color, what happens if when pressing the button the LED does not change from red to blue but it is still red? Does this mean that the battery is discharged?

5. Do I have to change the order of the batteries? One time one on top of the other and then reversed? If so, why?

Sorry for so many questions. I am trying to learn...

Thank You!

If you have the Phillips head (cross) screw in the top cap, switching to a slotted screw will help on making the draw easier. If it is working as you wish, stay with it, don't worry about changing anything.

Concerning the carto-to-top-cap fit, that might be due to the variability of cartos. I tend to use an adapter on everything now. It looks like you have a 510 fitting, so would use a short "510 extender". With an 808 fitting, I use a 901/808 adapter.

If the two nail holes works for you, that is all that matters. What works varies, depends on the eliquid and tool you are using. A bit of excess liquid means maybe just try one hole next time, just slightly too much getting to the carto. If the extra liquid only happens after it has been laying on its side for a long time, that is pretty common, I am careful on the first vape in the morning, otherwise my Buzz Pro is vertical in a pocket most of the day.

Welcome and congratz Codrut! Ask as many questions as you need, we're here to help as much as possible :)

It's not unusual to have a little gap between your carto and the fitting, you don't want to screw your carto down super tight. Are you having to leave it loose enough that it wobbles? If so then you may be missing a spacer, or like has already been suggested you may need to try the screw with the slotted head. You can email sales@notcigs.com and they will send you one

VG juice wicks slower because it is thicker, be sure to prefill your carto the first time you use one, then put it in the tank and fill the tank. Let it sit to absorb about 15 minutes before vaping. If the nail and hammer are working for you that's great, just be careful not to distort the shape of the carto or it will leak. You could try a larger hole if you still have dry filler problems.

You may still see the red light but not the blue when it's time to change the batteries. If you put fresh batts in and it works fine, then that was the problem. If you still only get the red and no blue light with fresh batteries then you may have a short. With fresh batteries you should be able to see the blue light when you press the button even without a carto on it.

Mark your batteries in sets and keep each set together. That way if you have a bad battery, it's easier to isolate it.

Let us know if any of this helps, or if you still have problems!

This vid describes the center pin on the carto that I was talking about. If you pull this center pin up it can help with your issue.

Wash
Get a slotted screw that has already been mentioned and then get an 808 to 801 adapter and then get yourself a Fusion and put into that tank. and you will be vaping like this.

I wished I still had my buzz but I have to wait until the eyesight gets better to fix it. But My IPro does the job just as well.

Oh and make sure you don't have a washer under that top screw because that can also make the center post sit to high.

Great advice there. I have mine labled 1, 2 and 3, in pairs. and bad batteries have a red X on them, and get used in a LED flashlight of mine (They still work in the flashlight)

I am enjoying the 3ohm Boge's. They seem to hold less liquid, and I wasn't a big fan of them till I put them inside a M1A1. With the tank, these Boges seem to last at least 3x longer (and counting) vs drip filling them.

By the way, that red looks pretty danmed cool! Almost as good as my Tuxedo (All black with chrome accents)

Cud, do you have any problems getting your vaping supplies shipped to Romania?
No. Maybe just the shipping time, it took about 3 weeks, but that was to be expected using the cheapest shipping method. And I paid a small amount of tax at customs (about 25-30 USD) as it was delivered from USA and not from EU, also to be expected. But no other problems at all. Here there are no laws against e-cigarettes yet, except it is not allowed to advertise them on TV.
