Hi I'm a newbie and trying to work on my 5 and 20 posts for verification. I started out with an Ego One a month ago and would rather not touch analogs ever again.

I was wondering if anyone has tried or successfully managed to strip the ego one batteries? I don't mean interchange but to remove it from it's metal body. I was thinking if I could change the batteries out instead of having to buy batteries as and when it fails.

Agreeing with Cloudmann. Not really doable, and even if it was, not worth your effort.

Additionally, your Ego One is probably not going to fail anytime soon. You'll probably get a year or two out of the battery before finding the need to replace it (because it's dying too quickly or whatever). In that time, you'll probably want to upgrade.

That's really unfortunate as I run a risk of the item being confiscated and made to pay a fine if I buy a brand new ego one battery and expect it to be shipped here. Is quitting smoking so tough now?

Um, what?

You live in the USA right? In what situation are you in where you're at risk of getting your e-cigarette confiscated?

I don't live in the US.. red and white isn't just limited to the US :p

Still doesn't tell us where you live... Is it a secret? :vapor:

If you can get replacement 18650 batteries, then the Kanger ASPIRE CF-Mod should be on your short list.

You called it a Kanger CF-Mod, but the picture you posted is of an Aspire CF-Mod. Kanger and Aspire are two separate, competing companies.

Yes. Been lurking in ECF for abit but didn't think of posting until I really started getting used to vaping instead of smoking. Sadly I don't think I'm allowed to post anything there yet until I reach required post count?

You now have 9 posts. Once the servers update (at :25 past the hour) you will be able to post over there. Make sure you read all the "stickies" as there are special rules due to the sensitivity of vaping in SG.

On a positive note, once you get approved for the Classifieds you many find some juice and/or hardware you are interested in for local pickup. How to Become a Verified Member

We will get you there... One post at a time... :toast:
Perhaps a 510 flashlight/ torch head on an empty battery tube wouldn't raise any eyebrows.
