Hi All,

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this. I've poured over this site for hours and have increased my knowledge of vaping by a huge amount. However, I still have gaps in my knowledge base and I'm afraid I'm going to make a mistake and cost myself a nice chunk of change. I'm interested in building a tank system....but I'm getting ahead of myself.

I currently have the Provari V2 mod. I'm really liking it a lot, but I don't like constantly refilling generic blank cartomizers. I want a tank system. I don't want to mess around with polycarbonate tubing for a variety of reasons. That leaves me with the option of a Who's Your Daddy Stainless Steel Polished tank or a Phiniac Hand Blown Pyrex tank. Both of these tanks come in regular sizes and bigger sizes. The regular sizes take Boge 510 cartomizers while the next step up in size takes dual coil cartomizers. This is where I'm stuck. Because of its variable voltage, I assume my Provari V2 will work fine with the dual coil cartomizers, correct? (I know it works fine with the 510s because I'm using the generic refillable 510s now.) Is there an advantage to going with the dual coil cartomizers over the 510s? The extra space for juice isn't really that important to me at the moment. Also, the Phiniac has another bigger size that takes a Resurrector or IKV Mega KR-808 cartomizer. I've never even heard of these two types of cartomizers!

I generally prefer a medium throat hit with fruity flavors. I currently use a high resistance, 3 ohm cartomizer I bought from ProVape. My preferred setting on the Provari is at 4.2 volts. (I understand that this can change depending on the juice.) I'm currently using juice that is an 80% PG / 20% VG mix. And I like it....

Any suggestions on what size tank I should get considering that how much it holds isn't really that important to me? I'm most concerned with getting a tank that is compatible with the best cartomizer. Is there any real difference between the 510 Boge, dual coil cartomizers, and Resurrector / IKV?

This is a great site btw! I feel like I have a new hobby now.... Please be patient with me if I've messed up and broken any rules about posting. :2cool:

I had been using Dual Coils for about 6 months. I just switched back to Boge's 2.0 and 3.0's. When I first started vaping I was excited about all the money I was saving. So the difference between dual coils and boge's was not very important to me. Now that I have been vaping for a year, I'm starting to look at the money saving aspect again. Boge's are just as good and much much cheaper. More importantly, dual coils take much more juice than boge's. I really like the amount of juice I'm using with the boges now. It's a large savings for me.

I like dual coil cartos and Ressurectors but find that they flood easily in a tank. I have switched back to using Boge cartos and have been very happy. I use Boge low resistance at 3.7-4.4 volts and Boge standard resistance at 5 volts and above. If you're going to invest a bit of money in tank I would go with an Arry Carto Tank version 4. It's all stainless steel and is not the least bit slidey. Go to Stormy's Vapor Cellar and check them out. Also here's a review: igetcha69's Channel - YouTube

Buy the shorter tank that will take Boge cartos, and you can use Smoktech dual-coils in it if you prefer. The length of the tank isn't a big deal with the dual-coils -- they still feed and vape fine with the shorter tank.

This way, if you end up going back to using Boge (as many people do), you'll already have a tank setup that works with the shorter cartos.

The Arry works with either length carto, btw.
