I've read about allergies to PG, but I always order my juice 80/20 PG/VG. Until now, I haven't had a problem with it. I recently received an order of juice from a different company & it's irritating my throat & causing me to cough. Why is this happening now? I love my new juice.. Any thoughts or suggestions as to what I could do??

Are you taking lung hits? Because most of the nicotine is absorbed through the mucous membranes and tissue of the mouth, throat and nasal packages. Too much nic can do this as well. Double check the order, might be different than what your ordered or something is different somewhere, PG/VG, nic, bases, etc. Good luck!!

Thanks for the quick reply!
I don't take lung hits, always mouth hits. I also double checked my juice & it's what I ordered & usually vape: 18mg nic & 80/20 PG/VG Can it possibly be the different flavors?

I love the flavors of my new juice, but my throat just cant take them. Specially the cinnamon one!

Ah, cinnamon, that would do it. It is an irritant, though delicious.
Many vapers find they get a period of dry coughing anyway, but if it started with the new juice, that is probably it. Also, remember to drink more water because vaping can be dehydrating, I believe. Good luck with sorting it out.

Yeah one of my favorites has a cinnamon flavor in it, though it doesnt hit quite has hard as the Brazilian Coffee one, a bit hit of that will really knock the crap out of my throat. But as for the irritation left, I agree, drink lots of water. It's worked for me, I just drink water all the time and any irritation goes away quickly.

Just to add another variable to the mix: your juice may just need to steep for a bit to mellow out. I've had some juice right from the mail that were great, and others that were really harsh. I believe it could be some of the flavors used being alcohol extractions, which would explain the irritation. Or... it could just be the cinnamon, lol.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my five+ weeks of vaping thus far, but there are A LOT of variables at play. Some easily figured out, others requiring a lot of trial and error. Hope you figure out the issue.

The juice was right out of the mail so it didn't have any time to steep. Although it is great tasting, the coughing with 3 of the 5 (2 have cinnamon flavors) gets worse as I vape them.
