Newbie diy liquid question

I am trying to reach an 80% pg 20% vg level because that's what I like. So my question is if I am using a pg nic base am I figuring that into my mix.

Also whats a good flavor percentage to start with the google answers are all over from 3% to 20% I

yes the nic base is considered to be part of the total mix. Flavors are a tad tricky, some are very strong and only require 3-5% while extracts can go as high as 30%. And since taste is subjective ( a matter of preference) the percentages can differ by 2-3 times more than whats called for

Yes, you do include it. Use a good calculator like this one eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator to work it out. A little tricky to get used to at first but easy once you figure out the fields you need. Play around with it a bit.

Flavor % depends on whose flavorings you are using. There are a number of thread in the DIY section that are dedicated to different vendors. You might use 10% of TFA but only 3% of another vendors. Then there is steeping. Check out the DIY section. DIY E-Liquid

Personally I like to use e-Liquid Calculator. Just sign up for an account (free) and make your recipes, save em and tweak as needed.

Also its a great place to review/try out new stuff.
