This is my first post, but I've been lurking for awhile now. I get more confused everyday. I just purchased a Kanger 510 e-Smart kit from Vapor Kings and it should be in the mail box shortly. I didn't get any e-juice and I don't know what blend to order or where to order from. I'll go to the B&M store and buy some today. Also not sure now if I should have gotten the Kanger Evod instead of the e-Smart.

Hi & welcome

guessing as many do you went for the "cig-a-like" style cause it reminds you of a cig

I would lean towards your second guess to at least go with an eGo battery, an EVOD Kit
eg: Kanger E-VOD Starter kit, Kanger EVOD clearomizer, Kanger eVod Cartomizer

seems those smaller batteries are not powerful enuff and can get frustrating...
we all do it, not wanting to let go of the "Cig" kinda factor
mark it off as experience, use it as back up and do yourself a favor and go EVOD kit...
then down the line you might want a fancy 'MOD' style... IMO

I recently drove down to the "CAPE" and bought a couple EVOD kits ($59)

not sure about Englewood, but plenty of vape stores over here...

good luck & let us know how it works out... :toast:

Hi welcome to ECF

The esmart should be good for its size... But in the vaping world there is a constant: The smaller the device the weaker the performance. That's why you'll see vapers vaping on these huge devices.

You will not get the same battery life and overall performance out your esmart compared to the evod kit... And similarly you will not get level of performance out of an evod kit than out of a bigger devices such as a vision spinner or what not.

It all boils down to what you are looking for.

Do you want a discreet device but dont mind the performance or a obnoxious device that will blow your mind?

welcome...U may have went to the local vape shops first and talked to them and sampled some juices and maybe even an EVod, before U ordered and now 2nd guessing yourself...there are 4-5 vape shops up 778 El Jobean rd in Port Charlotte on US 41 (behind the Gentlemens Club) and on Toldeo Blade (across from Kmart)....

and for online purchases I recommend these places....

Best E Cigarette | Buy Electronic Cigarettes | E Cig Juice - MT Baker Vapor ...for eliquids ..personally I like 555 (caramel) and RY4 (lil liquorice flavor)..no overbearing fruity or too sweet stuff...18mg nic 65PG/35VG blend if U just recently quit cigs/analogs...possibly a 12mg nicotine if a Light cig smoker...

DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo ..for starter kits and hardware (USA CT company)

2419 Electronic Cigarettes at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping ...for all hardware at cheapest prices anyplace (Hong Kong, so expect 10 days to receive items)

I too would have suggested a 1100a ego battery (lasts all day), a couple CE4 or CE5 cheap clearos, and an AC and USB chargers, and a carrying case and 2 blunt needle tips to start with.. www.discountvapers.com has the perfect starter kit for $44 but is currently out of stock but should be in stock soon if U are patient...

Welcome to ECF, Need2Quit! You purchased from my go-to vendor, Vapor Kings, so I am immediately biased in your favor, lol. You're lucky to be near a B&M; if they have a "juice tasting bar," you're twice blessed. Also check out the registered suppliers here; there are many, and a lot of them offer sampler packs of juices in small bottles, so no big initial investment. A general rule of vaping is that finding juice flavors you like is major to successful vaping. Don't stop tasting! I've been vaping for almost 10 months and am still finding new flavors I like (and many I don't, which are being stashed in case of vaping emergency, or vapocalypse as I call it).

As far as your equipment goes, Kanger is good, 510 cigalikes are good, as starters. As you progress, you may decide to move "up" to bigger batteries and clearos/tanks (and as you may have noticed, there is TONS of information and opinions here about all that!), but keep the 510's as backups.

First rule of vaping: ALWAYS have backups. And backups for your backups.

Happy vaping! :vapor:

Thanks for the welcome and advice. A new vapor store called "Pure Vapor" opened for anyone in the Placida Road area. GREAT store and Al is one special person. Took my e-smart kit and he got me started with 2 liquids. One is blueberry tobacco which I really like and a nice menthol cinnamon. If you go to his shop tell him Barbara sent you and you'll get 10% off. I think this kit is going to work out great for me.

GREAT ! that was fast, got your order and then your juice, glad to hear...

so did he mention anything about cinnamon in your tanks...?

just bringing it up because I hear so many talk about it as one of the juices that are hard on tanks with plastic...

hope all goes well Happy Vaping :toast:
