Newbie from NC

Hi All,

Lovestojam from Raleigh, NC here. Have been lurking for about a week or so, reading-up, and gathering alot of helpful info. Just purchased the Deluxe Starter Kit from Volcano yesterday afternoon and it looks like its on track to be at my door by 4:30 tomorow afternoon. Can't wait to start vaping. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and see if there are any other members in the NC area. look forward to talking to everyone.

North Carolina, I love good o'l NC. I have spent over ten years there stationed at Fort Bragg. Thinking about Retiring there. I know in Fayetteville they put a ban on smoking even in bars. Is it the same in Raleigh, if so vaping could come in handy if you frequent places as such.

Thanks everyone, nice you mee ya'll as well. Yes, unfortunately the smoking ban is statewide. Which truthfully was a good push for me to move to vaping. Being a big tobacco state, almost my entire family has smoked analogs since their early teens. It was actually my 65 year old unclue who pushed me to try vaping. He loves it, and now has both of his kids, my mother, and lots of friends vaping. The mostly all started with a starter kit from thecoleturkey.com, and they love it.

I do make it down to around fayettville about every weekend during the summer. My wife and I have a little place on Lake Waccamaw. She actually quit analogs back in January, but she is interested to try out my volcano once it arrives tomorrow. I think thats a good starting point for me as a newbie. Then again, I'm the type to probably have my first 510 on order in about a month if I really get to enjoying it. The goal for me is to have fun, enjoy a new toy, and get smoke free ASAP.

Can't wait to spend long days and short nights talking to all of you. Thanks so much for the warm welcome everybody.

to NC! I'm from the Charlotte area and welcome to the forums! There is a forum for NC peeps but it's not very active. I put this down to the fact that they named it tarheels and it has the UNC symbol on it. Go ahead and join anyway... I did and I'm a HUGE Duke fan. They know this and did not kick me out yet

Okay, so I just got the Volcano starter kit (the standard one). What are these clear plastic things that came with it? I seriously know NOTHING about this ...., I only bought one because every time I smoke a cigarette I get unbearable pain in my jaw/ear area.

I put the battery in the charger, it charged, then i put the atomizer in and scraped off the tinfoil .... (there was a tiny bit stuck around the edges that I couldn't get off)

then i put on one of those flavored cartridge things and started inhaling

It worked great for like, 2 times, and then it started to suck. now the red light is flashing every time i try to use it.

What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like your battery needs recharged, how long did you charge it? From what I have read some battries are duds right out of the box. I'm new to this as well, but when my light flashes it means "Charge Me". Hope this helps.
