Hello to all! My name is Cathy and I am new to the forum. I read some of the reviews and have ordered a Joye 510. I do have some questions...

Q1...Is there a page for the abbrieviations associated with vaping?

Q2...What is a PCC? Is it anything to do with a pass through, or is that a completely different animal?

Q3...Where is the best and most cost effective place to purchase extra atomizers for the Joye 510?

Yes, there's a sicky at the top of this New Members forum that says, "ECF Abbreviations"

Q2...What is a PCC? Is it anything to do with a pass through, or is that a completely different animal?

It's completely diffent. A PCC is a Personal Charging Case. It's about the size of a cigarette pack and you can charge it up and then use it to carry and re-charge batts when away from any power supply.

Q3...Where is the best and most cost effective place to purchase extra atomizers for the Joye 510?

That varies. You can always check the Supplier's Forum to see who is having a sale/specials. Ordering from China even with shipping) is usually cheaper especially when stocking up or placing a larger order. There are some here on the Forum. It's safe and the shipping is fast (like 5-6 days) and great customer service. (atomizers for $6.-)

For a small order like just one or two things, it sometimes cheaper to order in the US due to cheaper shipping even though the attys will cost a bit more.

I like to save up and place a large order all at once from China and get free shipping that way. I stock up on attys, batts, juice, place just 1 order, get free shipping and it all works out cheaper in the end.

I hope you ordered juice with your 510. Pre-filled carts don't last very long and are waaaay to much $$$$$!

Thanks to you both for your help! I am from Camas, Washington which is across The Columbia River from Portland, Oregon.

I am hoping the 510 was a good choice...I read up on several before I made the decision. Now I need to look over that ECF abbrieviation list! My head is swimming...~smile~

Do you know the best place to order a PCC from? There are so incredibly many entries on the forum. I am trying to sift through them all, but it is nice to get help a little quicker from the forum members. I am sure you must get tired of answering ?'s however!

How do you know which Company in China to order from? Do you have a personal favorite?

There are so incredibly many entries on the forum. I am trying to sift through them all, but it is nice to get help a little quicker from the forum members. I am sure you must get tired of answering ?'s however!

Personally, I feel it is my obligation to give back to this forum and the new members who need answers.

If it weren't for this forum and the answers I got when I was wet behind the ears, I don't know if I would have solved my problems and eventually found what works for me.

I don't know how long I'll feel this obligation, but I'm always hopeful that those that follow will continue to keep up the fight to help others find a way out of the cigarette nightmare, until they have given back what they feel they have gotten.

You're welcome. I know how confusing all the info overload is at first. Talk about your head spinning is putting it mildly!

I'm not sure where the best place to order a PCC from 'cuz I haven't bought one yet. I use a passthrough for my 510 and just carry 4 charged batts with me when I'm gone from any power source all day. A PCC is a great item to have though. Always check the Supplier's Forum and just skim through to check for Sales. It'll be posted so they're easy to see.

From China, I've ordered once from Bestecigs and three times from Eastmall. All four orders were shipped the next day and arrived within a week. I ordered from Eastmall during sales so it was a really good deal. David and Ed are great. Fantastic customer service. One batt I ordered was DOA (for my 901). I emailed Ed (customer service) and he called me (from Australia) and we talked for 4 hours! I was such a confused newbie and he was very patient and answered all my questions. He told David (in China) about my DOA batt and David sent a new one which arrived in 4 days. So, yeah, I'm a fan of Eastmall.

All went well with my Bestecig order too, although I ordered 10 attys ( a packaged deal) and 3 were DOA, but I haven't contacted them yet. I'll have to send the dead ones back, then they'll send me new ones. Eastmall doesn't require you to send anything back. They just replace it if it's within the first month after you get it. I've never ordered from Ruyan (Heaven's Gifts) but alot of people have and they've had good results too.

The 510 is a great choice, esp. if you have manual batts. I have the M401, 510, 901, and 801. I only use the 801 at home with a passthrough (too big for out in public) but I take the other three with me everywhere! I like the 510 and 901 the best.

Don't worry. You made a great choice with the 510 as your first ecig, although there's still a learning curve to get use to them with all ecigs. And everyone decides on their own personal favorite models, juices, and suppliers by experimenting around.

Soon you'll be vaping away and experimenting with all they great flavors and your head won't be spinning from so much info overload!

I am going to get the extra atty's and a PCC soon, but I am confused about the pass through? Exactly what is it?

Oh, and my head is still swimming, but all your help lowers the wave height! There for a while I was so confused that I couldn't even find this thread I started to read your answer...OMG! Now I realize I can search my user name and find it, thank heaven.
